Chapter Eighty-One

2024-10-29 19:42:56Cas and Zizi weren't home but I couldn't shake off that feeling that I wasn't the only soul present in this house. It didn't feel right.
I lazily dragged myself out of bed and I turned the keys, hearing the satisfying click of the door unlocking before turning the knob and standing in the corridor. It was about 6am.
Not up here.
I groaned slowly as I descended the stairs, being down here was a burst of fresh air even though I'd never admit it. I hadn't even had a bath in days, I just spent my time wallowing in sadness, crying and lately, pain-sketching.
I looked in the kitchen, no one, living room, no one and other corridor too, no one.
Till she walked through the doors.
"Good morning." She smiled.
"Who the hell are you and who the fuck are you looking for?"

"Next up, Mahe Island!" Cas cheered as we boarded the small plane -or jet.There were only two crew members aboard with us, the pilot and the hostess. The aircraft was quaint and comfortable, it was my first time boarding one in quite a long time and the feeling was unexplainable.We got settled in and I took a window seat while Cas sat right opposite me, taking another window seat.
