"Another guy showed up, how lucky of her."

"Good thing we've prepared for this."

The two figures who lurked the area whispered as vines appeared infront of the two figures below, ready to grip anything in it's path the vines suddenly turned to ashes before it could get anymore close. As if the guy next to Jamnia gave off radiations strong enough to burn anything.

"Show yourselves."

"What do you think are we? Fools?" A sarcastic voice replied as sharp metal like objects bursted towards the direction of the two.

The thick sharp edged metal like earlier melted like it was nothing. The innocent girl was amazed but it was still wasn't enough to make her believe in such foolishness. For her it was just some kind of show just like when she first encountered danger with the guy with golden eyes.

"Two can play at that game." The guy smirked before balls of lava materialize right in front of him. "Lava Magic: SeekingLava."

Jamnia step back in shock, her whole existence felt the heat meters away from it. She wanted to believe that this is just some kind of unreality, that there are people who are playing tricks with her. Magic is just something that is impossible to exist, but her visions will be changed.

The lava flew towards the huge golden gate, as if it was after something. Two cloaks became visible to the human eye, it jumped towards the ground. They used the combination of both their magic to stop the pursuing lava.

"Nuisance."

"Just give us the girl and you will be unharmed." One of the person wearing a cloak said for the person next to Jamnia to  smile.

"Weaklings." The guy mouthed as the rocks moved, with high speed it flew like bullets towards the enemy.

The two figures wasn't intimidated and fought back with the intent to kill. With each side clashing without holding back, explosions all over the place occurred. Jamnia was more afraid than she could ever, she hid behind the arrogant guy using him as a human shield.

The series of attacks didn't end, there were times Jamnia almost got hit by a thorny flower or a sharp edged metal. The guy couldn't careless he didn't care about himself, what more to inferior creatures?

"Metal Magic: Forge!"

"Plant Magic: Ancient Plant."

A big carnivorous plant sprouted near the both of them, it had a monstrous aura but it didn't end there. Large bits of metal covered the gigantic plant serving it's armor. It looked more vicious and hungry, Jamnia trembled in fear. She's already seen carnivorous plants in earth but not as tall as a three story building, she screamed before fainting, he just shook his head in amusement.

"Let's see if you can handle that."

"Unfortunately, I can." His expressionless face showed arrogance. "Lava Magic: Undying Will of Flames."

As those words came out of his mouth the gigantic carnivorous plant eventually was covered in raging flames, it later on turned into lava that melted the metal armor in seconds. The plant burned in agony but the boy has no conscience, turning everything to ashes was his specialty. The smirk on his face set victory as the faces of the two was troubled, they didn't expect to encounter a kid with godlike powers.

"Let's just retreat, we can't handle him."

"You won't win next time boy!"

The both of them jump towards the trees and into the gate, escaping. The guy tried to follow them but he choose to help Jamnia. She must've collapsed from shock, who wouldn't?

He held her bridal style in the moonless night, it looked romantic. He couldn't help but ask himself why is he helping a stranger? He just smiled as he saw the innocent face of the girl, he carried on and brought Jamnia to the infirmary.

Jamnia's Point of view.

I woke up feeling refreshed, it feels like something great happened last night. I slapped my face as I saw myself in the infirmary again. The refreshed feeling of my whole body eventually faded as I saw the poker-faced guy staring at me. He was that same guy I was with last night, why is he here? He must brought me here when I fainted but he doesn't really need to wait for me.

"Good your awake, come with me." He said and stood up with a serious face.

"Okay." I answered lazily, as if I can do anything but follow him.

He didn't even gave me a glance and walked like nothing else mattered as we headed out. Group of students whispered as I walked before him then it hit right through me, I guess yesterdays plan was a failure. I sighed and just thanked God for still being alive at this moment. I scanned the whole place as we strolled around the place. The school feels so lively, cheerful students everywhere. The questionable thing is that my bring me here?

"Hey, you hungry?"

"Y-yes." I shyly replied, he took something in his pocket then he handed me a homemade sandwich.

I looked at him then the sandwich then at his face then again the sandwich. I had no option but to get the sandwich, I'm hungry as hell.

After a minute of walking we've reached an office, the Headmaster's office actually. As we entered an old guy greeted us with a smile on his face. He's in his 40's but he still has the looks, a hot sugar daddy look.

What got into your mind, Jamnia? Gosh, this is Althea's fault!

The guy beside me bowed at the old man, I didn't know how to react I just stood there with my head down. What's his name anyway?

"Good morning Headmaster Burdues, here she is."

"Good morning aswell Clim, same to you Jamnia. By the way I'm the Headmaster of this school, Franc Burdues, sorry to keep you waiting days ago. I had too many things to do, I hope they welcomed you well."

Gosh, where are my manners?

"G-good morning." I awkwardly replied.

"I know you are kinda puzzled of what's happening around you. Questions about why you're here or why people want you. Don't be scared we're here to help you, we're trying to protect you. There are people out there that are after you, after all of you. You're special and somebody wants the power that you have right now." He said meaningfully which made me think.

Why me?

"What makes you think that I'm powerful and special?"

"You're a Zodiante, you have the power of the stars. You're powerful, you can to things other can't." The guy next to me coldly replied.

"A what now?"

"A Zodiante, like me. You have the power to summon a specific celestial spirit, Goddess Virgo. You must be special for a star to choose a human being like you." I could feel the hatred in his voice.

"Why did it choose me?"

"No one knows, maybe it saw a potential in you, a potential to protect Astra. However, you have to polish and strengthen your powers for the future. You need to be strong and powerful for you shall protect our world, Astra." Headmaster Burdues said with great hopes for me.

"I don't want any of that responsibility, I don't even know if I can trust you. There are too many swindlers in the world and having powers from the stars is a big joke." I said in irritation.

"Show her, Clim." Headmaster said for the guy named Clim to nod. A diamond key appeared right in his hand, a familiar zodiac sign was there.

"Gate of the Scorpion, I call thee, Scorpio."

As he said those words the whole place was engulfed with bright light. As I opened my eyes I saw a guy with peculiar features. He had a tail of a scorpion, it looks scary and poisonous. It had an blank look on it's face while all his clothes are patterned colored black. His expression has the same vibes of it's owner, the intimidating one. Is this real? Am I seeing a half human, half scorpion?

"What kind of sorcery is this?" I said in amusement.

"Now, you believe us little child?" Headmaster Burdues said smiling at me. "For you to master and summon your own spirit you shall be a student here in Delphaize Academy."

"S-student?"

I can't do that! I still have a life to live, I still have many things to do with Dustin. Not face this facade saving the world thing!
