DYLAN.

Coming to The Grill used to be normal. In here, I’m the center of attention and I also enjoy the mindlessness of it. The feelings that reach me from everyone around me are a much-needed distraction from my ominous ones.

Coming from my background and being my grandparents’ favorite charity case has forced me to turn off my ability to feel. Or rather, to stop relating to others and only watch them from a clinical view.

When I’m with my group of friends, I can decompress by observing them and letting their emotions wash over me. Like Damon, for instance.

He’s loud, crude, and only thinks about getting his dick wet and being drafted into the NFL. He’s currently telling the girls his famous story of when he killed a bear with his dad.

And while I’d usually relisten to his ego-retelling and even encourage him to go on, I’m in no mood for anything. Correction. I’m in the mood for kidnapping Amelia and chasing her.

Or fucking her against the hood of her car—or mine. But that’s not

AMELIA. “Mum, it's fine. You can leave, I'm not a kid anymore.” I told my mum for the upteenth time. She's always like this anytime she's leaving the house, especially when dad is not around. “I worry, you've been kind of withdrawn lately and I don't know what's wrong.” She said, touching my cheeks and my heart starts beating fast. Does she know about the choking sound I make each night? Does she know about the nightmares I have? That would bother her more, or did she know about Dylan?“Mum, I'm fine. It's just school stress really, I promise.” I told her and she looks at me for a while. “You do know that you can tell me anything right?” She asked me and I nodded. “Of course mum, I know. You'll be late for the show, come on.” I told her and hugged her. “You're my priority, I don't care about anything else, you're all I care about you know. So if you're not okay, I can ditch the show.” She told me, patting my hair from behind. “Mum, I promise you, I'm fine. Okay?” I told her an

AMELIA: Falling For My Best Friend Written ByOkwuma Esther (Esther~Writes) AMELIA The school Gym was packed with students; everyone seemed excited as they watched the cheer team practice their end-of-year parade. Loud pop music from one of Taylor Swift's popular jams played in the background as the girls danced. It has been one busy summer, and I couldn't believe I was finally done with the school year and by September, I would be in my finals. My eyes darted around the gym as I watched guys gush over how sexy the cheer team were. Not to lie, they were all hot, including the guys, with the hottest one being Valerie, the cheer captain and my nemesis. I could not help but glare at her with jealousy brimming in my heart; Valerie was the queen of Ravers High School. She was the typical blonde queen bee that was super rich. As much as I hate her at times I wished I had her perfect body so that I would be out there with them. I love cheerleading, but unfortunately, I wasn't bu

AMELIA Her face twisted in a way it never had as she cleaned off my spit. She was shocked at first by my audacity, but soon fury burst on her face. She kicked me in the face and my mouth bled as she screamed. "How dare you stinky bitch!" Valerie pulled my hair with her friends pulling my hand towards a toilet cabinet. I panicked and started to struggle knowing exactly what they had in their mind. I fucked up. The door was pushed open and I was pulled to the toilet. "I am sorry, Valerie, please, anything but this," I begged, but she ignored me and then shoved my head into the water. She pulled it out, "Never in your freaking life do that again." She snapped then shoved me in again. Her friends held me in place so that I couldn't escape. I wiggled and kicked my leg, fighting them, but it was no use as I was getting drowned in the toilet. They turned on the water to flush me. My screams were muffled by the water. I cried and screamed but no one came. I c

AMELIA The room was brightly lit, and I was all giggles and smiles. If this was a dream I didn't want to wake up. "Give mum a smile dear," my cheered me up with the brightest smile ever as she used her old camera to take a picture of me in my prom dress. It wasn't just any dress but a diamond arcrest dress, one of the most popular designer brands. They were the only brands that I could kind to have the best dress for me that hugged all my curves perfectly. A soft smile hung on my face as I smiled sweetly at the Camera while Mum took multiple. "That's my baby, I can't believe this day finally came. Mum said dramatically wiping off a tear. Dad's soft chuckle could be heard from the door. They were both happy I was going to prom this year and with Dylan as a bonus. This was my first ever and I was super excited. "Of course, this day was meant to be our angel finally winning over her crush," Dad said, and my cheeks went red while Mum smiled teasingly. "Dylan isn't m

AMELIA My eyes stared back at the crowd in shock; I was too embarrassed to move, my brain lagging behind to process what was happening. A roaring laugh echoed in the hall, they were all laughing at me. My eyes met Dylan's. He was too stunned to react. "Amelia, you should fix your dress." The principal said with a soft tone, reality finally hit me. My hands rushed to cover my bosoms and I ran away from the stares and laugh of mockery. As I ran past Valerie I heard her snicker. "Your fast ass ruined a perfect dress." That was enough; I could not bear it. I didn't know where I was heading but I needed to leave. Tears continued running down my eyes, my sobs were caught in my throat. My heart tightened, making it difficult to breathe. I was fat so running and crying was too much stress on my heart. Valerie did this, what did I ever do to deserve such hatred? I never came in her way and always did my best to avoid her but she always finds a way to make my life a living hell

AMELIA It gave me an unsettling feeling. As far as I knew, Thane Estate was a private property, and there was no reason for Valerie’s car to be parked here. Dylan knew how she treated me at school. He knew the things she had done. What about that night at prom? The night she ruined my dress and humiliated me in front of everyone?I shook my head. Maybe I’m overthinking this. There must be a reasonable explanation.“When I go in, I’ll ask Dylan why her car is here. There should be a good reason, right?” I murmured under my breath, trying to reassure myself. As soon as the driver stepped out and opened the car door for me, I took a deep breath and also got out. He then moved to retrieve my luggage from the trunk while I pulled out my phone and dialed Dylan’s number. He picked up almost immediately.“Amelia,” he said, my name rolling off his tongue in that deep, familiar baritone. My heart skipped a beat.“Yes. Where are you? I just got here,” I said, gripping my phone a little tighter

Dylan's POV. I should have been more careful. I should have destroyed that stupid page the moment I wrote it. It was just a dumb dare, a meaningless joke, but now...now it had ruined everything. I had only stepped out to grab snacks for our movie night, but when I got back, I knew something was wrong. The house was eerily silent. No music, no distant hum of the TV. Just silence. Then I went upstairs to check on her after keeping the things I bought. I checked her room but I didn't see her in there. Then I thought of fetching my phone from my room so I could use it to reach out to her in order to know where she was because I had forgotten to take my phone along with me when leaving the house to get some snacks and then I saw her... Amelia. She stood in the middle of my room, her back to me, clutching my opened diary. Her shoulders trembled, and I knew it before she even turned around. I knew. She had read it. Shit! “Amelia…” My voice was barely above a whisper. My throat fe

AMELIA. Goddamn it. Stop ogling his lips. Just when I’m about to pull away from him, an annoying voice filters in our direction.“If it isn’t Amelia.” I push Dylan away as Valerie and her minions and a few others from their exclusive club saunter by us. Damn it. Damn it. The last thing I want is to be seen in Dylan’s company by this band of thieves. They’ll never let me live it down and will make a whole big case about how he’s out of my league and blah, blah, blah. “Val,” Dylan greets her with ease. But at least he’s not trying to touch me. She raises her brows at me. “You aim big.” “Don’t you have some people to torture or make their lives miserable?” She smiles. “Maybe.” “Yours included, Amelia,” One of her minions screeches. “Go take a hike, Bee.” “It’s Bree!” Valerie inches toward me and whispers so only I can hear her, “Careful what you get yourself into. You never know what happens in dark corners.” My breath hitches as she saunters away, followed by her clique. Oh m

AMELIA. Something is off. Me. I’m off. Ever since Dylan had his tongue and fingers in and all over my most sensitive part, it’s like I’m an entirely different person. Because I want it to continue. No. I actually want another scene like in that room where I’ll be on the receiving end this time. Or maybe it can start like in the forest and end like just now. I still have him in the palm of my hands so I can ask for it, I think so… I frantically shake my head. What the hell is wrong with me? Is there some loose screw in there? Instead of finally leaving me alone, Dylan exits the locker room first, saying he’ll wait for me outside. He leaves me panting and hornier than when he first walked in. It takes everything in me to put on jeans and throw on a shirt and my leather jacket before I go out. The late afternoon chill assaults my sensitive skin as I head to the parking lot. Sure enough, Dylan is waiting in front of his Tesla. With Ava. I hurry toward them, my cheeks about to ca

"Because it’s you.” “That’s not an answer.” I retorted.“It’s a perfectly adequate one.” “I just can’t wrap my mind around the fact that you want all this depravity with me when you have the entire campus at your beck and call.” my voice trembled as I spoke softly.“The entire campus don’t make me horny as fuck after a newbie blowjob. You do. Also, the entire campus don't make me hard as fuck when I look at them. So how about you step down from your high and mighty tower and come down to my level?” Dylan smirked, amusement in his gaze as his eyes hovered me.“So I can service you?” I arched an eyebrow.“Among other things.” “In an alternative reality, maybe.” I scoffed.“You don’t mean that.” “I totally do. Does hearing me say 'NO' to you bruises your superstar ego?” “This isn’t about my ego, it’s about yours.” “Oh, give me a break.” I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms.“It’s true.” “Are you telling me that if I say no, you’ll leave me alone?” “No.” “There. AMELIA. My whole body ached, I didn't know who told me to agree with Ava on her games, but now my whole body was hurting. I can't remember the last time my body went through such strenuous activity. Another reason that I involved myself in the cheerleading activity was because the witch happened overnight, she kept appearing in my dreams and I almost died overnight because I couldn't breathe. The cheerleading activity took my mind off it and I welcomed the jabs from Valerie too. She intentionally made it more harder for Ava and I at the tryouts today. Valerie was just a bitch. Finally we were done for the day and I just finished taking a very long shower. I spend more time than needed in the shower until almost everyone leaves. When I come out, Valerie and the assistant captain of the football team are talking to the coach in the office adjacent to the locker room. Their voices are clear, but not their words. Hopefully, they’ll leave before I’m done. I’m not in the mood for jabs

AMELIA. If going to school was hard before, it’s now close to impossible. On Monday, I walk down the hall like a druggie experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. Not only are my fingers twitchy, but I keep watching my back as if expecting a sudden attack. Okay, that’s an exaggeration. Or is it? I honestly don’t know anymore. I spent the whole weekend overthinking until my head nearly exploded. I didn’t find the same level of joy in bingeing on my true crime shows and podcasts. Instead, I kept replaying what happened two days ago in the haunting darkness of the forest. The chase. The blowjob. How Dylan came all over my face. It should’ve been humiliating, right? But I found myself staring at the mirror, recalling how I looked after he drove me home. I was a mess, but not in the negative sense—far from it. It’s the most beautifully haunting mess I’ve ever had the chance to witness, to breathe in and feel up close.Just before I got to my locker, he sent me a picture of himself, hal

DYLAN. “Don't be scared of applying pressure, you won't hurt me.” Amelia tightens her tiny grip and moves it from the base of my dick to the tip of it. I hissed in a breath, and she paused, her movements unsure, before she resumed her task. This lady was going to be the death of me; everything she did amazed me. Her technique is awkward at best as she tries to fit me in as much as possible. Is this a tactic so she can get away without sucking me off? In her attempt to stuff me in, her teeth graze my dick and I grunt as I grab a handful of her hair and wrench her head back. “No fucking teeth.” Her eyes widen, but she nods as she closes her lips around my dick and sucks at a moderate pace. “Are you sure you want to get me off? Because at this rate, I’ll be falling asleep.” I decide to tease her. I know she'll do it properly when you push her or when you make her know that you feel like she can't do it. I don't know why the fuck she's reluctant. She doesn't get that she's mine.
