He dragged her gently away from the crowd and they walked together briskly far away from the hall where the party was now back in full gear. Once they were alone in a secluded room, he shut the door firmly behind them.

“I swear to you… before you start yelling, I didn’t have anything to do with this, we reconciled this afternoon and he went to his room to get prepared for your rite” caspian explained at once, rushing out all the words, hoping she would believe him.

She sighed and stumped her heels on the well-decorated floor, “so what are you implying? I asked Sam to check his room just now and he isn’t there… she informed me, that’s why I have been looking all around the hall… I swear if you had anything to do…”

Caspian grunts in annoyance… “Let’s leave all this threat and look for him, something doesn’t feel right… also I wouldn’t hurt your brother and lie about it, you know me too well, I’m not scared of anybody.
