Rose’s Point of View

“Rose is right, Hilary. You should get treatment quickly if you’re sick. A brain tumor isn’t trivial. Your life could be in serious danger if cancer cells spread,” the nurse said, her tone filled with concern.

Hilary’s dramatic screams had already gathered a crowd of curious werewolves outside the consultation room. They peeked in through the door, murmuring amongst themselves. Their concern seemed genuine, likely stemming from the fact that Hilary had once saved the Alpha’s life.

“Rose is a good doctor. She’s saved plenty of lives, especially after the construction accident,” one werewolf assured her. “She won’t harm you, Hilary. We’ll make sure of it.”

“Exactly. You should do everything you can to stay alive. Delaying this only makes things worse,” another chimed in.

“Let’s get started, then,” someone said. “Nurse, prepare to shave Hilary’s head. The operation mustn’t be delayed any longer.”

The suggestion caused Hilary to freeze. Panic flickered across her face

I hadn’t seen Rose since the day in the forest, yet I couldn’t forget her expression. Her light brown eyes shone with fear and disgust, as if she had seen a monster—and that monster was me.But what did I expect? Gratitude? Forgiveness? After all I’d done to her, her hatred was justified. It should have been enough to push her out of my mind. Yet, her image lingered.“Shit, Jack. You’re pathetic,” Uriel, my wolf, growled, his voice sharp with disdain. “She’s your enemy—a slave now. You shouldn’t feel anything for her. If anything, you should be thanking me. Now that she hates you, she’ll steer clear of you.”“Thank you, Uriel,” I said flatly. My wolf’s voice faded, but his words hung in the air. I hated that he was right. Rose and I were fated mates, but fate had clearly made a mistake. I didn’t deserve a mate, least of all Rose.“You know, you’re better off without her. You’re not capable of love, Jack. You’re a killer, a warrior. You don’t need her,” Uriel said, calmer this time, as

Rose's POVA week had passed, and my life in the hospital had gradually become more comfortable. At first, the other werewolves treated me with distrust. Some patients refused to let me treat them, and my colleagues kept their distance, unwilling to work alongside me. I understood why—they saw me as the enemy, the daughter of the Alpha who had once attacked their pack. But things began to change. Slowly. After successfully treating a few patients, I earned their trust. They started to see me as more than just a name tied to their pain. My colleagues began including me in their discussions, sharing their insights and teaching me things I’d never known. They were skilled, dedicated, and surprisingly kind. These werewolves weren’t the cruel and ruthless monsters my father had described. They were humble, grateful, and hardworking. The more I learned about them, the more I questioned the decisions that had brought us to this point. Why had my father invaded this pack? What had driven him

Rose had uncovered my lie. She knew I was pretending to be sick, and she used it to humiliate me. She deliberately wanted to put me under the knife, as if to show everyone how powerless I was against her. What if she’d gone through with the operation? She could have killed me right there on the operating table, and no one would have batted an eye. That merciless bitch. The werewolves of the Blue Lagoon pack were blind. How could they not see through her? She wasn’t some innocent, hardworking doctor trying to help the pack. No, she was the enemy, and she was manipulating everyone, turning them against me little by little.I couldn’t risk staying in the hospital. I bolted before they could strap me down. But my luck only worsened when I ran straight into Jack outside the building. His expression was cold—colder than I had ever seen it. I’d never feared Jack before, but at that moment, the weight of his authority pressed down on me.“This is my last warning, Hilary,” he said, his voice l

Hilary's point of view:Certain that Jack would accept his offer, Loren gave me a look of confidence."Sorry, Alpha Loren, but I won't sell Rose. She belongs to me, "said Jack nonchalantly before leaning back in his chair and looking at us, Loren and me, condescendingly.Did I hear correctly? Had Jack just said that Ross was his? I couldn't believe my ears. I felt my heart break so much I was suffering. I was seized by jealousy and despair.Jack and I had known each other for years. And we had supported each other to spend the worst moments in the dungeon. But, it was the first time he also showed himself possessive."Jack, do you forget that the Blue Lagoon pack needs money? It's a new pack and it needs funding. Besides, it's not like Loren is our enemy. We also can't afford to offend the other packs " I tried to persuade Jack , after calming down."The situation of the Blue Lagoon pack is not so critical, we will not starve even without these fifty million dollars. In addition, Rose

When I learned Rose no longer lived in the dungeon, I was furious. Jack’s kindness toward her was inexplicable. Giving her an apartment? Treating her like an equal? She was supposed to be a slave, and yet, she lived better than most wolves in the pack. That was when I knew—something had to be done.My plan unfolded with precision. I discreetly smuggled Loren’s werewolves into Blue Lagoon territory and waited for the perfect moment. After learning Rose’s schedule, I timed my move for when she was at work.Breaking into her apartment was laughably easy. Once inside, I made my way to her bedroom and poured a heavy dose of sleeping drug into the carafe of water she kept on her nightstand. Then I stationed Loren’s werewolves outside, while I took the apartment opposite hers. Through my telescope, I could see everything. When Rose returned home, she went about her routine—cooking, cleaning, and tidying her room. It took every ounce of patience I had not to scream at how slowly she moved. Fi

Jack’s point of view After finishing the last of my paperwork, I was preparing to turn in for the night when Lydia reached out to me through the mental link. Her voice carried a sense of urgency that instantly put me on edge.“Jack, Rose is missing,” she said.Without hesitation, I sent word to my men, ordering them to comb through our entire territory for her. Meanwhile, I rushed to her apartment, where Lydia was already waiting.“I came to bring her food, but she didn’t answer the door,” Lydia explained as soon as I arrived. “I asked the guards stationed downstairs, and they confirmed they saw her return from the hospital earlier. I forced the lock, but when I got inside, the place was empty. And her belongings—some of them are gone.”My jaw tightened. “What about Andrea? Is she still here?”“Yes,” Lydia replied, her face pale. “She’s at my house playing with Grace.”Her words didn’t sit right with me. Rose would never abandon her sister, no matter the situation.I stepped into the

Hilary’s Point of ViewNever before had Jack shouted at me so harshly, and I had never seen him so shaken. It was as if he was barely holding himself together. But why? Why was he so upset over her? Why was he yelling at me because of that worthless girl?My chest tightened with anger, but I forced my eyes to well with tears, letting sadness paint my face. I knew how to play my role. I let my lip tremble and my gaze fall to the ground, ensuring I looked pitiful and hurt.Jack’s threatening glare softened when he noticed my tearful expression. As always, my act worked. Whenever I pushed him too far, all I had to do was appear fragile, and he would back down. This time would be no different. Without Rose, everything would go back to how it used to be between us. That thought alone filled me with relief, even joy.Loren’s men had done their job—or so I thought. The fabricated scene they had created should have been enough to convince Jack to give up his search. But as Jack knelt to pick

Rose’s Point of ViewWhen I returned to my apartment, I drank some water and collapsed onto my bed. Exhaustion overwhelmed me, and before I could process the strange heaviness in my limbs, I blacked out completely. The next time I woke up, everything was swaying slightly, and the low hum of an engine filled my ears. My head throbbed, and I struggled to orient myself.Opening my eyes, I was met with Loren’s smug face, his arm firmly wrapped around my waist. His grin was obscene, his eyes predatory.“Get your hands off me! Why am I here?” I spat, trying to wrestle free from his grip. Only then did I realize we were in a moving car, speeding down a rugged, uneven road. The pitch-black sky outside confirmed it was the middle of the night.Loren tightened his hold, ignoring my struggles. “Why the hostility, sweetheart? You were sleeping so peacefully in my arms just moments ago. Don’t you want to rest a little longer?” His voice was a sickening mix of mockery and desire, his eyes glinting

My body stiffened, but then a familiar voice whispered against my ear.“It’s me.”Aaron.He slipped under the covers, his arms encircling me as his lips traced soft kisses along my cheek and neck. Aaron’s Point of ViewTo keep Jack from suspecting anything, I carefully orchestrated a small skirmish between my soldiers and the Blue Lagoon Pack’s forces. For several days, we engaged in battle, just enough to make it seem like I was struggling. Then, when the timing was right, I staged my defeat and released Rose. Before letting her go, I gave her one final command—find an opportunity to kill Jack and escape to the Wouri River Pack. Jack trusted her completely, which meant getting close enough to strike wouldn’t be difficult. That night, the storm raged on. Lightning slashed across the sky, illuminating the darkened streets for fleeting moments, while thunder shook the earth beneath us. Rain pounded against the trees, drenching everything in its path.I waited a short distance from the hotel where Rose had checked in, my car idling in the shadows. The minutes stretched on until, finally, a figure emerged from the darkness. She ran toward me, soaked to the bone, her white dress cli

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 252

Jack’s Point of ViewWhen I woke up again, the storm was still raging outside. Thunder rolled across the sky, rattling the windows as rain pounded against the glass. I was lying in bed, my chest wrapped in thick layers of gauze, my body stiff with lingering pain.Marvin was sitting on the sofa nearby, his gaze sharp and alert. The moment he noticed I was awake, he immediately rose and approached my bedside.“Mika is resting in another room,” he informed me. “She exhausted herself using too much of her healing power. Alpha, you were stabbed directly in the heart. You should be dead, but thanks to Mika’s abilities and quick treatment, you survived. She told me it was Natalie who attacked you?”Marvin’s expression was grim, his voice unusually severe. He had always been the level-headed Beta, the calm strategist of the pack. But now, his tone was edged with something rare—anger.“It’s true,” I confirmed, my voice steady despite the weight of my words. “Aaron drugged her.”I glanced down

Jack’s point of view:Rose stabbed my chest with a dagger, sinking the sharp blade into me without an ounce of hesitation. She acted quickly and decisively, as if she were doing a daily task.I pressed the wound in a hurry, the bloodgushing out of my fingers. I forced myself to endure the acute pain. Raising my head, I looked at Rose in disbelief, my lips pursed in a sinister frown.Because she was my love, I had lowered my guard.Suddenly, Rose’s empty eyes widened slightly. Pain, shock and horror passed through them for a brief moment. However, a fraction of a second later, they returned cold and insensitive. She then abruptly removed the dagger from my chest. "Rose.." The colour dissipated from my face as it turned pale. I called Rose’s name weakly by instinct but I never wanted to blame her. I knew she had done this because she was under Aaron's control.Outside, thunder rumbled and heavy rains fell on the earth."Just... stay here! You're not going anywhere." I quickly noticed

Jack’s point of view:I withdrew from the territory of the Wouri River Pack with my army and I started the trip back to the Blue Lagoon Pack.As we still had distance to go to reach the territory of the blue lagoon pack and Rose looked a little exhausted, we settled in a hotel in a nearby small town for the night.I took Rose to the room. She sat on the bed without saying anything. She looked absently out the window with crazy eyes."Do you want to shower first?" I handed her a bathrobe, squatted next to her and gently grabbed her cold hands. My eyes lingered on the dark circles under her eyes. "You must have been exhausted these last few days. Take a shower and go to bed early, okay?"Rose’s empty gaze finally passed from the window to my face. She didn't recognise me in any way, but stared at me."I seem a little familiar to you?” I stuck a little smile on my face and placed her cold palm on my cheek, hoping that it would awaken a memory.Rose nodded submissively, but she said nothi

  • ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON   Chapter 249

Jack’s Point of ViewThe battle raged on for days, each hour stretching longer than the last. The Wouri River Pack, already weakened from our previous confrontation, struggled to hold their ground. Meanwhile, the Blue Lagoon Pack had deployed nearly all its forces, pressing forward with relentless force. Victory was within reach. As my army neared the entrance of the Wouri River Pack, the gates suddenly creaked open. Aaron stepped forward, his posture tense, his exhaustion evident in every movement. His clothes were torn, his face hollow with fatigue.“Jack, stop!” His voice was raw, stripped of its usual arrogance. “What will it take to end this war?”I sat in my car, watching him through narrowed eyes. Without hesitation, I lowered my window, my tone colder than ice.“Return Rose.”Silence stretched between us, thick and suffocating. Neither side moved, the battlefield momentarily frozen in a fragile truce.Aaron let out a slow, weary breath. His hands curled into fists at his sides

Jack’s Point of ViewDays after issuing the declaration of war, I led my army to the borders of the Wouri River Pack. The tension in the air was thick, charged with the promise of battle. Aaron and his forces stood in our way, waiting for us. Even at a glance, I could tell his numbers were insufficient. My gaze swept across his ranks, searching. But Rose wasn’t among them.I stepped out of my car, my boots pressing into the rough, scattered stones beneath me. Every move I made exuded the silent fury brewing inside me. My voice was cold, edged with barely restrained rage.“Aaron. Hand over Rose. Now.”Aaron sat lazily in his car, clad in a sharp gray suit, exuding nothing but smug arrogance. He arched an eyebrow and let out a mocking scoff. A silver gun rested casually in his hand, as if he had already won.“I won’t be giving Rose to you,” he said smoothly. “She belongs to me now.” A twisted smile curled his lips as he flicked his fingers, signaling his men.A heartbeat later, Rose was

Aaron’s Point of ViewThe dense forest stretched before us, towering elms lining the road as we drove through the quiet night. Rose sat silently by the window, her gaze fixed outside, lost in thought. I, on the other hand, was reveling in my victory, pleased with how smoothly everything had gone. That satisfaction shattered the moment my phone screen lit up with Olivia’s number. The call interrupted my navigation, and immediately, my mood soured. Why the hell was this woman calling me now of all times?“What is it?” I answered curtly, irritation lacing my voice.“Aaron, where the hell are you? What’s going on?!” Olivia’s furious voice exploded through the speaker. “Didn’t you say you were negotiating a truce? The Blue Lagoon Pack just declared war on us! They’re demanding we hand over their Luna, or they’ll annihilate us!”Her anger burned through every word, but it was the accusation that followed that truly caught my attention.“You didn’t—tell me you didn’t kidnap Rose again! Jack’s point of view:I went to Rose’s dormitory and knocked on the door, which was opened by Bianca. My sudden arrival shocked her."Jack? What are you doing here at such a late hour?""I came to see Rose. Is she awake?" When I entered the room, I expected Rosse to still be there. My eyes swept the room and I realised that there was no one else here except Bianca and me. Rose was no longer in the room."Where is Rose, Bianca?” I turned to look at her and asked her in a tense voice."She's fine. She woke up some time ago. An hour ago, she received a phone call and went out to meet a friend. But, she was behaving a little strangely, and she was pompome, as if she was preparing for a date," Bianca replied with a craving stuck between her teeth."I don't think she went to meet a friend." I took a few moments to think carefully. An hour had passed since Rose had left the dormitory. I walked to the window and noticed the cosmetics placed on the table that she had used.
