“You can tell me whatever only after I’ve had a proper meal. I won’t be able to stand the sound of your voice for much longer without something to ease my disgust.” She said to me.

It wasn’t just the words she spoke that hurt, it was the fact that she had actually meant them. I was beginning to feel a sliver of fear that she truly was done with me, that I had pushed her so far that she had gone past her breaking point, thereby pushing our relationship past the point of no return. She no longer trusted me, that much was clear, and without trust, the foundation of our bond was already gone. Though I had no one but myself to blame for it, I was the one who abused her trust.
