As I watched Eden run away from me and speared me with her words, my heart sank with a deep sense of despair. I could feel the sadness emanating from my wolf as well, knowing that we had both failed to protect our mate. The weight of this failure was heavy on my shoulders, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of helplessness.

As I watched Eden cry for hours, my heart ached with a pain that I couldn't put into words. I wanted nothing more than to hold her close and comfort her, but every time I tried to approach her, she pulled away, keeping her distance far away from me.

The sight of her tears made me feel like a failure, and I wished I could turn back time to protect her from whatever and whoever had caused her pain. I couldn't bear to see her in such a vulnerable state, and I knew that I had to do some things to make everything right.
