Dearies!! Who else supports Andrea in her decision?
THE CRESCENT MOON PACK. NICHOLAS. It has been a month since I picked some other female as my chosen mate and also my Luna. The feelings I felt with her weren’t the same as the ones I felt with Andrea, my fated mate. These days, I couldn’t understand what I was feeling. There was this guilt that coursed through me whenever I thought about Andrea and what I did to her, and every night her crying face when I rejected her haunts me in my dreams. I no longer had any peace of mind as only the thought of her was in my head, and Mum had to bring a witch to the pack, so I could have a good night's rest, but that didn’t seem to work. Anywhere I look, I see Andrea there, and I sometimes remember the little time we spent together as children. I still can’t remember what happened to her parents; I could remember Mum and Dad going with them to some official meeting, but they didn’t come back, the pack was distressed during that period, and I was the only one who comforted Andrea. And that
ANDREA. After searching for Fred for some minutes, we finally saw him in the training arena and I smiled; just the place I wanted to be. “Hi, Fred.” He stopped punching the scarecrow kind of man and looked at me. “Luna, What are you doing here.” He asked. I opened my mouth to say something but closed it back when nothing came out, wait a minute did he just call me ‘Luna’ “Why did you call me that?” I asked, and he smiled. “You are the Alpha, our Alpha’s mate, so that makes you our Luna.” “Not yet.” I agreed. “But soon.” I glared at him, but he just chuckled, he stopped when he saw Alessia standing behind me. Come to think of it, Alessia isn’t known to be quiet, so what happened between them? Hmm, something is definitely fishy and I must find out. I nodded to myself and stared at her, she had a distant look like she would rather not be here. “Hey, Sia,” Fred said, and a forced smile that didn’t reach her eyes graced her lips. “Hi, Fred.” I couldn’t stand the awkward mo
ANDREA. “What are you talking about?” He asked. “Andrea.” Alessia drawled. “Help me make the Alpha jealous,” I said, and they both stared at me like I had a huge snake on my head. Dramatic much. That was the second thought that came to my mind after thinking about how to make the Alpha accept me as his mate. Werewolves are possessive and territorial beasts, not to talk much of an Alpha, a Lycan Alpha. They can kill, especially when someone tries to claim or harm their mate and if I can make Dante jealous, there’s a slight chance that he would be able to accept me and claim me quickly. “What do you mean by that?” Fred asked and I rolled my eyes. What else do I mean? “I want you to help me make the Alpha jealous, since he decided not to accept me or reject me, then I have to take matters into my own hands. I want to make him jealous, I intend to hang out around other males and see his reaction.” I said confidently. I know my plan will work, all I just need is his help and mayb
ANDREA. The ray of sunlight hit my face and I groan loudly. Can someone just fall the curtain down, please? I mumbled, rubbing my face, but I gasped when someone answered. “No one is falling any fucking curtain, Andrea. Please tell me what’s the time?” I got up quickly and gasped again when I saw the time glaring at me. “Shit!” I stepped down from the bed and hurried to the bathroom. “I wouldn’t condone this behavior if it’s my turn to train you, Andrea. Get ready fast, you’ve made Fred pissed and instead of a light warm-up, he has decided to add some hard things to it.” I groaned, picking up my toothbrush. I brushed and washed my face then dashed out of the bathroom, I entered my walk-in closet to pick a training shot and sports bra Alessia bought for me yesterday. “I’m ready,” I said, not staring into her eyes. “Don’t tell me that, let’s go.” She walked out before I could say anything. I followed behind while packing my hair in a ponytail, we didn’t say anything to each o
DANTE. I glanced at the paperwork on my desk and groaned. Being an Alpha is not easy and that’s why we have our betas to support us, speaking of beta I do have one, and I wonder where he’s. ‘Where are you, Fred?’ I asked through the mind link. It took some time for him to reply. ‘Cough…. I’m in the training arena, Alpha.’ I furrowed my brows. What was he doing at the arena at this time? All the warriors must have left the training arena by now, so What was he doing there? ‘Come to my office this instant.’ I ordered. ‘Yes, Alpha.’ I cut the mind link, then relaxed on the chair. My ringing phone blared through the whole office. “Yes,” I answered. 📞 “Sorry, boss, but your attention is needed here.” Rose's voice said. I grumbled under my breath before speaking, 📞 “What happened?” I asked. 📞 “Mr Blaine happened, sir.” She said, sighing tiredly. I cursed again as I gritted my teeth. What does that fucker want again? I sighed tiredly, then said, “I will be there.” I
DANTE. “Fine but know whatever happens you brought the.....” He trailed, staring at the door like he was in a trance. “Fred, what’s wrong?” I asked, but he wouldn’t say anything, still staring at the door. He sniffed the air and growled. “What’s going on, Fred?” I walked closer to him and at the same time, a knock came on the door. “Behave yourself, Fred,” I chided then ushered them to come in. The door opened revealing Rose first, then two of team one who were males before Jane and that’s when I got what was wrong, but before I could do anything, Fred had already dashed to the door. “MATE!!” He growled. Shit!! I watched with my mouth wide open as Fred pulled Jane into a hug, he sniffed on her neck, and with Jane almost popped eyes, I knew she was startled. But the next thing that we didn’t see coming happened, Fred pulled her to himself by her waist and kissed the hell out of her. ‘Oh boy, this is going to be hard.’ I thought, wiping the invisible sweats off my face.
DANTE. After dealing with PLAYIT, we left for Trevor’s house, which wasn't hard for us to find. We waited for nighttime when he was alone outside enjoying his night stroll just as our intel told us, so to cut the long story shut; we gave him the scare of his life. Imagine taking a stroll on your private property where everything is secured and no hindrance, but you find two huge wolves lurking around and making an attempt to attack you. Yeah, scary right? We got to the pack house late, and since we didn’t tell anyone where we were going, we just went straight to bed, Fred promised to talk to his mate tomorrow even though it was hard to leave her. But considering she was a human and didn’t know our ways, he agreed. I entered my dark room, I moved to the wall looking for the switch, and imagine my surprise when I saw another figure on my bed. “Who the fuck are you?” I yelled, marching to the bed. I took the cover off the intruder and scoffed. “You are back, Alpha.” She purred,
Chapter Thirty-Eight. ANDREA. I went back to my room ignoring Alessia who was walking behind me, she was trying to catch up with me, but I wouldn’t slow down. ‘That’s what you get for making me quit’ I scoffed as I entered my room. “Oh come on Andrea, don’t give me the silent treatment now.” Alessia groaned, slumping herself on the couch while watching me do my thing. I didn’t say anything to her, just busy going through my stuff to get what I could wear after bathing. She blocked my way to the bathroom and I tried to move past her but couldn’t, seeing that she wouldn’t give way, I raised my head to glare at her only to meet her cute face. “I’m sorry babe, please forgive this big sister of yours, please.” She pouted, blinking her eyes continuously, and I sighed. “Fine, you’re forgiven,” I grumbled under my breath. “Yay, I love you, Andrea and I promise to get you your favorite ice cream.” She said and I shook my head. Alessia can be childish at times and also serious, bu
An hour later. We were in the Crescent Moon Pack house, Dante and Fred were already here so we didn’t meet much of their interaction. Nicholas was the first to see me as I walked in, and he rushed to my side, Rae and Alessia in a defensive stance behind me as they saw him coming closer. “Please forgive me, Andrea! I… I had no idea my parents did that to your parents, please, we are sorry.” He begged as he fell on his knees. I stared at Nicholas and looked around if I could see Lilith anywhere, but she was nowhere to be found. My eyes met with Sarah’s and I could see her trying to hold her tears. I nodded at her, and she smiled before taking my gaze back to Nicholas on the ground. “I forgive you, Nicholas. Yes, I forgive you and your sister because I know you weren’t there when that happened, all I need from you is for you to return my father’s pack to me.” I said. He answered quickly before I could even finish my words, “Take it, Andrea. You can take it because it belongs t
ANDREA. TWO WEEKS LATER. Two weeks have passed since little Audrey left us for a better place. The pain of her loss was still there and I blame myself every day for not being quick, for not saving her on time. Hell, I blame myself for coming out of the bunkers, I got to know from the guards placed outside the bunkers that Audrey slipped out when she didn’t see me. She came out because of me because I couldn’t do one thing I was instructed to do. I hosted myself in a pity party and used sex as a way out, for the past two weeks I have been extra horny and wanted to jump on Dante’s bone more than ever. I thought it was because I was still grieving, but it was becoming too much. Dante tried to pull me out of my grief, but it was so hard, it was hard to forget those cute eyes and lips. Those eyes that were always staring at me in admiration…. Now I can’t see them anymore. She was gone. “I miss you, Audrey,” I whispered and then groaned when my stomach growled for the umpteenth time t
DANTE. “You can’t kill her, Dante.” She said after laughing to her fill. My brows raised at what she said, “Do you think I’m bluffing, witch, I will kill your daughter the same way you killed my parents.” I let my claws grow and then positioned them at Estelle’s neck, but Morgana said something that halted my plans. “You can’t kill her because she’s your sister.” She yelled and I froze. I froze where I was standing for some good minutes when I heard that, there was no way that was true, right? That couldn’t possibly be right, there was no fucking way Estelle could be my sister. Fuck! I don’t feel any sibling bond with her, and she doesn’t have a fucking wolf in her. Lycans are special and any family with the Lycan blood has a close bond with their sibling(s) like the way I have one with Alessia, but I don’t feel anything for Estelle so it was pretty clear that she was lying. Everything she was saying was to buy tile, and I’m not falling for that anymore. I stared at Morgan
‘Please save her, Dante.’ I managed to pass the message through the mind link, then took my eyes back to little Audrey, who was still running towards me. ‘Don’t come any closer, Audrey.’ Morgana stopped muttering her spells and I gasped in shock when she took one hand from mine and then stretched it towards little Audrey, and my eyes opened wide in shock. “No.” My heart thundered as I looked at little Audrey who wasn’t attempting to flee from there, and then my eyes moved to Morgana who was still reciting some spell with her hands stretched out. My eyes widened as I saw the spell going straight to little Audrey’s way, I tried to hold Morgana’s hand, but I was far too weak to do anything. Summoning all the strength I could mutter, I yelled, “Save her, Dante, please,” I begged with my other hand glued to Morgana’s. She wasn’t letting this go easy….she promised not to hurt anyone. I couldn’t move with my hand trapped in Morgana’s, my heart pounded as my breath sized. I wat
DANTE. The fight with the dead rogues and witches was both exhausting and tiring, they all didn’t want to die a second time and anytime we thought they were dead they would rise again. All my focus was on the rogues I was trying to kill, I didn’t know where Andrea was, but I could feel she was doing okay through our bond. I was busy fighting with the undead rogue for the fifth time when Jocelyn came to my side, she looked at me and then whispered something in my ear. My eyes widened immediately and when I looked at the other side, I saw Andrea already there speaking with Morgana. She wasn’t supposed to be there without anyone by her side…without me by her side. “Go Dante, I will hold this,” Fred said and I turned to him. I didn’t even know he was behind me. “Thanks,” I looked at Jocelyn who nodded then took off with Jocelyn running after me. Isa saw us and quickly ran after us. ‘Wait for me, Andrea.’ ~~~~~~~~~~ ANDREA. I got to Morgana’s side quicker than I thought and
ANDREA. I looked at Dante who had shifted and was already by my side, he pulled me closer to his warm body. “What is she doing?” He asked. “Dark magic,” I replied. I looked up, and the once sunny sky had turned dark, a strong wind blew out of nowhere while Morgana kept on chanting. My eyes widened when I saw the already dead witches and rogues waking up, and walking towards Morgana…..what the fuck!! Everyone stopped fighting as they watched the dead rising and walking towards Morgana, even the headless witches woke up and walked aimlessly towards Morgana. Morgana had a wide smile on her face as she kept on chanting and calling on whatever demon she was summoning. “We have to do something, Andrea,” Alessia said, coming over to my side. I looked at her and asked, “What can we do? The deed has already been done, we can’t turn back the hand of time unless we have that.” I said, pointing at Morgana. They all shuddered and shook their heads. “What on earth is happening here?”
ANDREA. I couldn’t stay with the women and children in the bunkers, not when my mate and every other warrior in the pack was fighting out there. I wanted to go out there since those witches came for me and I did it, after making sure all the women and children were accounted for, I sneakily left the bunkers without alerting the guards placed outside. When I made it to the battleground I saw the fight already in full swing, the smell of blood that covered the ground from dead witches or wolves hit me. I looked around at the number of her people fighting, trying to see if I could find Dante anywhere, but I couldn’t see him. My eyes met with Fred’s and for a minute, he was shocked to see me standing there. “What the fuck are you doing here, Andrea?!” He yelled, completely ignoring his surroundings. My eyes widened when I saw a witch approaching him from behind. “Watch out.” Out of instinct, I stretched my hand out and the witch's head blew off. Her body slumped on the ground wh
ANDREA. “We are under attack!!!” I froze in where I was standing as my mind comprehended the words I just heard. Under attack again… I woke up from my reverie when something tugged my dress, “We need to leave Andrea. Now!” Alessia didn’t wait for my reply before dragging me out. Although I was following her, I still couldn’t believe that we were under attack, by whom and why? The warriors who were sound and ready to fight rushed out of the infirmary with us also, and while we were heading back to Dante’s pack house they assured me that they would do everything possible to protect the pack. “Where’s Andrea?” Dante hissed, rushing outside and that was only when I came back to my senses. “I’m here, Dante.” I was immediately engulfed in his warm body and he kissed my head. “What’s going on, Dante?” I asked, pulling from the hug and searching his face. “We are under attack, Andrea, and I need you to go inside with the other women. Take your Luna to safety.” He ordered a warrio
ANDREA. “Dante!!” I called out in panic and watched in horror as the witch’s light ball moved quickly in his direction. My heart was beating hysterically as I watched Dante look at the light in both shock and anger, but he didn’t move. ‘Come on, Dante,’ I urged in my mind as I whispered a silent prayer to the goddess. I opened my eyes and saw Dante move quickly to the side, he growled and charged at the witch. I let out a sigh of relief and a tear rolled from my eyes when I saw he was okay. He killed the witch and the two others before facing me, he was breathing heavily, and my eyes roamed around his body, searching for any cut on his body and I gasped when I saw the huge injury on his back. My legs automatically carried me to his side, and before I knew it I was holding his hands, “Are you alright?” I asked, searching his eyes for any sign of pain. But all I could see there was happiness and relief. “I’m so glad you’re okay, Andrea.” He pulled me into a hug and I melted in
