Dickson soon cleared his throat before speaking, he seemed to have noticed Elizabeth's expression.

"Lizzy, this is Miley, my childhood best friend." He said.

Miley's face softened as she looked at Elizabeth with a charming smile, She extended her hand with a warm smile, "Nice to meet you, Elizabeth. Dickson has told me so much about you."

Elizabeth felt a little bit knickknack as she looked at Miley, the childhood best friend of Dickson. She wasn't expecting him to bring someone along, but she quickly composed herself, offering a polite smile in return.

"It's nice to meet you too, Miley," Elizabeth replied, shaking Miley's hand. "Dickson hasn't mentioned much about you, but I'm glad to finally put a face to the name."
