"I have never seen you around here? Were you recruited by the rogues recently?" Casey asked.

I looked at Casey, taking in her skeptical expression and the curiosity in her eyes. It was clear that my presence in this particular circle was still very unexpected.

As I took a moment to gather my thoughts, I realized that I needed to craft a response carefully. Revealing too much about myself could potentially compromise my mission, but evading her questions might raise suspicion.
