The moment they had gotten to the border, they had noticed that the news received might be false. There had been no sign of any captured rogue.

"Leon, I thought you said a rogue had been captured around the borders?" Scott questioned while he glared around.

Leon glanced around, a frown etching deep lines on his forehead. "I'm just as surprised as you are, Scott," he replied, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "The information I received was from a reliable source, but it seems something might have gone wrong."

Scott crossed his arms, a mix of frustration and concern evident in his expression. "We can't afford to rely on false information, especially when dealing with rogues. They're dangerous, and if there's no captured rogue, it means they're still out there."

Leon nodded, his eyes scanning the horizon. "You're right, Scott. We need to be cautious. Let's regroup and reassess the situation. We can't let our guard down."
