Chapter 4: zack

I thought this day would be nice, that my tiredness would be over. But no, yet am still tired, tired of my life, tired of my frustrations, tired of coming back here and been decisive once more by her. My mother! she must be the most precious thing I could have in this whole but, it isn't the case. She does everything for me to be more and more deceived by her. With her useless excuses.

I needed to talk to someone after quarreling myself with my mother earlier, so I went to my Godfather's company to take some advice on what to do with this situation of absurdity  from my mother and about how to definitely finish my painting board. He and I love painting just like my late father and talking with him makes me remember the beautiful moments I passed with my father. Already nine years he is dead and it is just as if it was yesterday.

After taking a tip of time with my Godfather Mr. Robert Hilton, I decided to relax with my friends whom I didn't see since I travel for my safari in Africa. Eddy and willy are just like brothers for me and I love enjoying and keeping my mind free of charge while being with them. So Eddy invites me to our usual Lost and Found night club. 

After some few minutes, I arrive at the nightclub and see them already installed in our usual place at the corner of the place.

"The handsome boy is here " shouts Eddy while fraternally greeting me.

With a smile, I greet willy and sit down. Eddy commands a glass of whisky for me and I feel as it wouldn't be sufficient for this night.

" Better give me a bottle," I said assuredly.

" Wow what the fuck with you men? Are you okay?" Asked Eddy.

" Yeah, just want to celebrate tonight it been a long time," I said

Eddy commands instead a bottle of whisky and when it is been served, we take each one glass of the huge drink and toast before swallowing it at once. A sound of satisfaction comes out from my mouth surely because of the hot and bitter taste the whisky reacts in my throat.

" So how was your safari?" Asked willy

" Well good," I answered while taking another glass of whisky.

" Congratulations to your mother bro," Willy tells me.

I frown and drink at once my glass before replying to him with anger.

" Don't congratulate me, all this is just a mess." I said " can you imagine. I didn't know my perfect mother would get married?" I said while hanging powerfully the glass in my hand no matter if it breaks and wounds me.

"Fuck! We didn't know that. Sorry... but you are nowhere with us, so let get fun." Said Eddy.

" And how? Cause Getting drunk isn't sufficient." I said continuing drinking.

Eddy stands from his place and comes forward to me and sits beside me with a smile.

"Pledge." He says.

I already know what he means, he wants the game to start again. Well, it been a long time already and I think I need to test my sex appeal.

" Seriously, we are no longer kids." Said willy not really going for the idea.

" Am not asking you, you have already your princess Ariana with you but we need to play," Eddy replied to willy. " So what do you think, let wake up our fraternity group even if we are now the two of us. Think about it, it is exactly what you need before going for another journey, play once more, gain a trophy." Eddy tries to convince me.

Our fraternity, it been a long time. Eddy and I created this fraternity just for fun. We were five of us and now two. We were the type of boys who used their charm and money to date girls and leave them out whenever we obtain what we needed. Sex! It was the only thing interesting we loved in girls cause love wasn't our matter. Each of them finds that famous love except me and Eddy. I feel as to continue the venture, it may be fun so why not?.

" Ok, it works." I agree while taking a tip of my glass of whisky at the same time with Eddy to celebrate the pact.

" Do you remember the rules?" He asked me.

" She falls in the trap and I disappear," I respond while we both laugh enjoying the moment.

" So this is your pledge, the next girl who enters the night club is your pledge, right?" Eddy proposed to me.

" Interesting, it okay." I agree in front of the uncordial face of Willy.

Few minutes passed and Eddy was drunker than me, I could still stand up and dance but not him, or else he would fall. Poor Eddy, I am always the one who can support Alcohol between him and I. Eddy pats me hardly on the back indicating me to look at the door.

" This is your pledge entering," Eddy said 

I decide to widely focus on the entry and realize it is the new assistant of my mother.

" No bro, I can't do that. Everyone except her." I said frustrated.

" Why not?"

" Firstly she is the assistant of my mother and secondly she is just like a Tomboy. She isn't my genre." I said more further.

" But look at her...she seems full of experience. Just imagine how it would be nice to fuck her up." Said Eddy with envy.

That's true I like mature people, especially in the sex domain. I love new experiences. When she fell in my hands this morning and she looked at me with her hazel green eyes, I totally wanted to kiss her at that moment and start chatting with her, but knowing she is my mother's assistant is just out of my principles. 

On the other hand, this could be more interesting than my other ventures.

" So what do you think?" Asked Eddy

" Alright!" I agree

Eddy shouts and pats me harder on my back then serves another glass of whisky for us to drink.

" You are not obliged to do this." Said willy beside us.

" Shut up! Right at this moment, he is more a friend than you, and am sure he will never leave me no matter what happens in his life." Eddy said.

Eddy is my friend since university and I was closer to him than the others, that why I can't just leave him like that. He is like a brother to me.

" Okay, so I put in play... 300000dollars for the pledge." He said showing all his teeth outside while raising simultaneously his eyebrows.

" You know I can't lose," I said proud of me.

I already won for a prostitute, an Indian girl though traditional they are, and even my female friend Lola, so does he think a simple assistant will blow me off my victory. Never!it will be easier. Putting money in-game although we are rich is just to sweeten the game. What I usually do with the money I gain after each pledge is getting a sweet night with some of my favorite prostitute full of experience in a brothel. That what I call life!

" Alright." I agree with the huge smile of my friend.

I know she will fall into my trap, that is obvious. I continue drinking my glass of whisky while analyzing my prey on the other side of the room with Rose. Let's start the game.

Eddy went to chat with a girl and still now, he is not yet back. Wonderful Eddy, he will never change. Willy got back home bored by our childless game as he said. He never knew how to make fun, always serious on his path, so boring man. I continue looking at her without her feelings my stares at her, she may be interesting.

A man is sitting beside her, he had been there for about 30minitues already. She seems not to like his presence. She turns to her bag and the drunk man takes the opportunity to put a sleeping pill in her drink. The bastard! How dare him?. I wake from my chair a little bit unbalanced but still able to move forward.

I move forward to her before she drinks, excusing myself from people to pass me. Then I arrive at her and take off the glass from her hand, once more she looks at me, with the same expression of wondering as last time.

"What...what are you doing with her glass? Give her back." Said the drunk man.

I look at him full of pity and anger when I think about what he wanted to do while putting that sleeping pill in her drink.

" Why? Is it your drink? Or do you want to drink it to remove the bad odor of alcohol?" I said 

I pull the glass in front of him, for him to drink it. He pushes the glass in my hand making it to fall and break at the same time with my calm. I was off!. I pull his collar ready to punch him, but no matter, he is drunk.

" The next time you put a sleeping pill in someone's glass... Makes sure no one sees you..." I said before throwing him on the ground like shits "get out from here before I regret, you motherfucker," I continue under the curious regards of everyone.

" Tiara, oh my God are you okay?" Said Rose who just came after all this.

" No, I said it was a bad idea to come here." The assistant said before going furious.

A good opportunity for me. I hold on to Rose and propose to go with her. I run after her up to the exterior.

"Wait...where are you going like that? at night," I said still walking after her to stop her.

" Very far from here." She said still walking rapidly with anger 

" But it seems you are new in this town, so let me bring you back," I said while holding her hand behind her for her to stop walking.

She removed her hand from my grip harshly while looking at me angrily.

" Going back with you? No!" She said furiously.

" Okay then, be polite and thank me. It is the second time today I save your life." I said proudly and arrogantly.

" Ohhh congratulations Mr hero, do you need a price for your devotion?" She said ironically.

" You are such impolite," I said already bored by her attitude.

" Yes I am, so let me go," she said turning her back to go.

She goes but she will come back when she will calm down and realize she is really lost in a new town not knowing where she is going to. And that is how me, I will come and rescue her. I love myself. I said with a smile and go forward to my car and on it, then prudently follow her.

When I reach her level seeing her walking like a misplaced person,  I honk the car behind her and turn on the headlights. She stops without looking behind surely as I said, realizing she doesn't know where she is going and thanking that I am there. I step off my wrangler Jeep and get in front of her. She looks at me surely ashame.

" Stubbornness is a crime! " I said.

She doesn't answer and turns to my car, open the door, and enters. I smile at her like the victorious player I had always been and step into my car at my turn. 

" Where are you living?" I asked while starting the car.

" Distillery history District." She said her face outside.

I start driving, then I realize I don't even know her name.

" I am Zack Torneur and you?" 

" Tiara frost." She said still not looking at me.

So Ruth this girl! I drive for a long moment before arriving finally at the Gooderham & Worts big sign. She stops me and I do so, trying to park properly. She gets down and walks forward. So definitely she is impolite, Ruth, stubborn and strange.

I watch her walking, and she stops while turning and looking at me. Wonder what she wants now.

" Thank you, sir." She said

Sir? Wow, I didn't mean her to be so formal with me. I nod my head and smirk at her.

"Am now back, you can go." She said 

I understand she doesn't want me to know where she lives so I start the car and go. Sir!.... I chuckle realizing she is wasting her time with all these formalities. I succeed in each thing I do....
