After the dinner, Lucas offered me some drugs and I took them. I went to the guest room where he had kept my luggage and took my shower. My phone had been on DND but I eventually resorted to turning it off. Who knows if he put a tracker on the phone.

The next day came by so quickly and I didn't even step down a bit in the morning. I knew Lucas had to leave early for work. In the afternoon I went down to find out that he had prepared breakfast for me before leaving. He won't be happy if I don't eat them but I really don't have an appetite.

I managed to sit down and began forcing myself to eat them. Looking at the opposite side, no one was there but the image of Diego flashed through and I imagined him sitting there with those captivating blue eyes and beaming a warm grin at me. I wanted to smile but I snapped back to reality!
