Chapter 2

Rosalie wasn't surprised with how fast her wedding day arrived , she had ofcourse heard about the incident where Aiden's brides have ran away with their lovers . Even though Aiden chose girls who lost their mates in battle , it does not meant that they were willing to be his bride .

But Rosalie did not have this option, her mate was alive and well but she was rejected . That's right at her eighteenth birthday when the spring of her life should have arrived and she should have been allowed her to have her shot at happiness , her love was brutally taken away from her .

The man who was her mate rejected her and instead chose someone else , someone who lost her mate in war against another wolf pack and this someone wae none other than her sister , Anna . It was funny how , she had always helped Anna like a true sister when , all Anna ever did to her was to steal everything away that might bring happiness to Rosalie .

" Rose ?" 

Rosalie turned around , she was getting bored of staring at her reflection wearing the wedding gown anyway, it was Cecelia, her best friend .

" Cece " Rosalie smiled at her , a smile that didn't reach her eyes and Cecelia rushed to her , hugging her at once .

" Oh , Rose ! " said Cecelia in an anguished voice " why did you agree to it ? " clutching her face , Cecelia demanded .

Rosalie knew that except her best friend no body cared about her enough .

" I didn't have any other choice " said Rosalie.

" There is always a choice!" she tells me " we can run away , you don't need to marry him " 

" I can't " Rosalie shook her head in rejection " once I step out of the boundary line , without the protection of an Alpha , I will no longer be a wolf from a pack , I will become a rogue. And you know what it means " 

Cecelia took a deep breath , of course she knew , rogue wolves without protection cannot remain alive for long . But she didn't wanted her friend to jump in this hell hole either! 

" He killed his own mate " she wheedled , trying one last time to change Rosalie's mind .

" I'm gonna die either way " said Rosalie looking out of the window , trying to will away the tears that threathend to escape " atleast by marrying him , I might have a chance to remain alive " .

Cecelia 's grip on her hand was almost painful but Rosalie didn't mind it. The pain she was feeling in her heart subduing everything else .

The door to the bride's room burst open and came in her father, looking prim and proper in his black suit. 

" What're you doing here?" he looked at Cecelia in distaste , ever since Rosalie stopped listening to him ,Alpha Morris believed it was all because of this girl, who filled his daughter's head with nonsense .

" Go , Cece , enjoy the Wedding " Cecelia had opened her mouth to retort her father but Rosalie didn't want her to be thrown out of the wedding reception at least with Cecelia , Rosalie will be slightly at ease .

Cecelia looked as if she wanted to refuse but Rosalie shook her head , with Rosalie 's refusing her to get in a row with Alpha Morris, Cecelia could only stomp her feet and leave the room.

" Its her , isn't she ? She told you all that nonsensical things ?" said her father once the door to her bridal room was closed .

" It has nothing to do with her and you better not create trouble for Cece while she lives here in the pack or you will be answering, Alpha Aiden why his wife ran away " knowing her father well Rosalie knew that he would definitely create trouble for Cecelia once she was married off , hence it was necessary to put him at his place before something like that happened .

Alpha Morris , sneered coldly but didn't speak, holding out his hand he let Rosalie hold on to it .

" Can you smile at least , you look like as if you're attending someone's funeral !" once they reached where she will be saying her wedding vows with Alpha Aiden, her father chided her .

" Aren't I? I'm killing my own happiness so that your lovely daughter can live the life she wants , what else do you want , Alpha?" Rosalie looked at her father who was more like a stranger to her , he was so unfamiliar to her that she wasn't willing to even call him ' father '.

Alpha Morris turned a deep shade of puce , swelling so much like a bull frog, he was .But his criticism was interrupted as the wedding march began and the song for the bride's arrival started , the door opened and Rosalie walked down the aisle, to the man , who she will be calling husband .

It was slow agonizing walk , with her wedding veil in front of her face , she wasn't able to see the man's face who was standing at the end of the aisle clearly . And as she walked to her doom , laughter bubbled inside of her , it was one of the most funniest thing , that so many people came here to congratulate them for a wedding that holds anything but love .

He was a murderer , killer of his own mate

and 

She was a rejected wolf , rejected by her mate

They were like two pieces of mix matched puzzle trying to make do with each other .

Finally what seemed like years , she reached the end of the aisle, she could hear her father mentioning how much he loved her and how precious she was to him . And the laughter inside her almost spilled,never did in her entire life she heard those words from her father , they were strange , weird and just as meaningless as this wedding .

" Take care of her "she heard her father say as he held out her hand for Alpha Aiden to take .

" I will " a chilling cold voice answered making goosebumps rise on her entire body . No wonder , he was famous for his bloodthirst , his voice alone was enough to freeze the inside of her heart .

She stepped on the raised platform where she will say her wedding vows, with Aiden's help .

His hand was warm , contrary to his cold and calm voice. 

" I, Aiden Cullen , take you, Rosalie Morris to be my wife . I promise to be true to you in good times, in sickness and in health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life." 

Rosalie knew that his vows were as empty as this wedding , he will never honor or respect her , and love, hah , she can't even think of it .

" I ,Rosalie Morris , take you, Aiden Cullen , to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times, in sickness and in health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life." 

But she was here to play her part and once Alpha Aiden was done with playing his role , she stood up to play her's.

 She then heard The priest blessing them , asking them to join their hands together, and asked , "Do you take Rosalie Morris as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

" I do" Rosalie heard Aiden say in the same cold voice .

The priest then turned to her asking the same think he had asked Aiden 

"Do you take Aiden Cullen as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

The words I do were right upto her throat but she couldn't say them out loud , her heart thumped and she could feel , Aiden's hold on her hand hardening . 

" I - I do " the words weren't coherent but the priest who had started to sweat like crazy under , Aiden's murderous aura , ignored it .

He hurried , the best man asking him to give the ring to the groom , trying his best to end this wedding without a hitch .

Aiden placed the cold ring on her finger following the words "take this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."

Rosalie repeated the same exact words , placing the ring on his finger .

And the wedding was conculded .
