Chapter 5

Rosalie would have refused his invitation, but if she did that it would give the impression that she was feeling intimidated of him and She couldn't let him see her weakness. She sat on the place where , Aiden patted but instead of sitting side by side , she sat crossed leg facing him .After sitting on the bed, she said " So you want to talk ?" .If she could , she wished to avoid talking to him at all. That husky, cold , coarse gravelly rattled her senses and almost made her tremble .

" Yes " .

" Why ? What's there for us to talk ?" 

" I think we really need to have a good chat , wife " .

Rosalie gaped at him , Wasn't he being too flippant about their situation ? 

" As per your ideals , as long as I have Giselle with me , I can not have you serve me as my wife , in your words either I need to leave you alone or be completely loyal to you ." 

" That's sounds about right " Her tone made it clear that there was no way she was going to back down .

Aiden's inner smile surfaced. She was a perfect little thing for him . However; he still need to sound his wife out ,just in case.

" Why ? Is it because of you getting rejected by your mate ?" 

She growled at him and by the glare she was throwing his way , he knew she was wishing him to drop dead for asking that particular question .

His tone had her straightening "and how does it concern you ? about what happened between me and Tyler ."

"Maybe you still not understand, you're my wife " he said in a gentler voice. "Shouldn't I know about what happened between the two of you, so as to give you the secure life you wish for ?" 

Although there was no need for her to hide it from him but her pride and distrust still refused to let him know "Don't lie to me , you looked as if someone had force fed you poison , the entire time during our wedding , you didn't want me as your wife , How am I supposed to trust you ?" 

"I have no excuses for that , The last thing I knew I was told I was marrying a recessive , I don't think any Alpha would be happy about it . But I didn't knew I was marrying a spitfire back then , If so I would have been a better sport ." 

"Will you now?"

Aiden nodded , his eyes sincere .

" Fine , what do you want to know ?" Rosalie took a step back , she wasn't going to lose anything by telling him anyway .

"Why did you marry me , Haven't you heard about me ?" 

" I do " 

" Then ?" 

Rosalie spoke quickly, hoping that if she satisfied his curiosity he would leave her alone. "My dad wanted a son as his second child , to carry on his title as the future Alpha but all he got was a recessive of a daughter , do you think he would be happy with my birth? I had a shitty life, my parents ignored me and with me in contrast my sister looked amazing in comparison , when you sent word asking them to pay what they owed you , they panicked . My sister was supposed to be taking a good , strong guy and let him take our family name , if she got married to you - well you catch my drift , I had enough of them walking all over my head just because they are my family . I can't kill them but I can get away from them as for marrying you I was living in a hell hole before , why does it matter if I jump in another ? Atleast I'm comfortable here ." 

" And your mate ?" 

" Jeez , He was going to inherit the title of Alpha after getting married with Anna ,what will he get if I marry me ?" 

" So he chose riches over his mate ?" 

Rosalie was this close to screaming at him. Not only was he picking at her still fresh wound , but her body and wolf were once again reacting to him in a way that unnerved her.

 Her fingers itched to touch him and to sweep them through dark hair to find out if it was as silky as it looked. 

The primitive lust squeezing through her veins and had insides churned and there was some throbbing going on in her not to be named place.

 There had to be something wrong with her if she was attracted to a murderer .

 But, strangely, she wasn't feeling scared of him .

Masochistic.

She was definitely becoming masochistic.

His lips twisted his and tiltin his head back. "What if I say I can heal your broken heart ?"

Her heart almost stopped beating. " Why would you do that ? Don't you love another woman ?  

"You are my wife , much more important than anyone else ".

Okay well that was unexpected. "why , What do you have in it ?" she asked, feeling suspicious.

"You ."

Rosalie rolled her eyes . Yeah right .

Aiden smirked , he knew his feisty little kitten didn't trust his words .

" What if I say, I am adamant to consummate our wedding night " he asked with what he think was a wicked, suggestive grin. "lets see if you like odd positions in bed as well ?" 

" well good luck in succeeding to pin me down."

" Ah, of course. How forgetful of me , You are an heir of alpha." And as alpha she wolves , whether they are the leaders or just alpha by birth, they didn't surrender without their male proving his dominance.

 And this idea of making Rosalie surrendering and submitting to him had his c*ck throbbing and his balls aching. 

He knew she would fight him like a feisty little cat.

He liked his women strong and feisty, but they were often too intimidated to challenge him, if they weren't intimidated by him, the heavy dominant vibes of his was enough to make them flee and if that wasn't it, it was how close his wolf comes to surface when he mates . 

That was if they weren't scared enough by his reputation. The only females who had ever stood up to him was his mother and the only female who can take him and his wolf on was Giselle, that's the only reason , he had kept her around for so long.

 " What if I say I will treat you just like a mate treats his mate , giving you the security you want ?" .

Rosalie 's entire body stiffened. There was no way he was suggesting what she thought he was.

" Wolves mate for life." she reminded him 

"Yes, while I don't like soul-moving, imprinting shit at all , its a load of bullshit if you ask me." In fact, he was pretty sure he wouldn't be capable of feeling that ever again not after what Lula did to him " But we are bonded for life mate or not, The wedding ceremony was conculded and once I imprint on you , you will be mine . I haven't got any nerve in my body that screams of loyalty but I can try for the sake of this marriage " .

" Well then you don't necessarily need me to mate with you. You have another option " .

He shook his head. "That wouldn't work because I'd need to mark you, or my mom wouldn't like that . Secondly, I don't like the sound of living with my own wife as stranger. I do hope you're not expecting for us to live like husband and wife , just for name our entire life ?"

A big issue, though, was that Rosalie wasn't sure her wolf would be accepting of his mark and once Aiden and she imprint on each other, it would be very uncomfortable for her wolf. And that was just one of many problems. "Look, even if I take up on your offer and give this marriage a chance , what about Giselle, I don't think she will give up on you just like that ?what if she comes looking for trouble with me ?"

He had thought about this matter "Don't worry , As your husband, I won't let her disrespect you , no matter what " .

The man has an answer for everything, muttered Rosalie . Could she do this? Can she let her heart take another chance at love? Maybe it was a lot to do with her rebirth, she couldn't help but doubt everything and everyone, what if she makes another mistake by trusting him ? .

 This was her second chance at life and all about what she wanted .
