Chapter 46: Hades's engagement

Hades's POV -

The only emotion I'm feeling since the past few days is anger. I didn't use the information against Lucian because I still had a soft spot for him, but who knew that he would get involved with the underworld. Most of his activities are illegal. 

All these years I assumed that he was giving me a tough competition because of his own abilities and even after all the hate, I was happy for him. But who would have thought that it was just shortcuts. However I don't care what happens to him anymore, Anastasia is my bottom line. I don't care if she doesn't accept me, but in this short time that I've known her, I'm sure marrying Lucian isn't what she wants and he is definitely blackmailing her with something. I can't let that happen to her because of me. I will have to take care of Mia too, since the only reason I had agreed in the first place was because I didn't want Lucian anywhere near Anastasia.
