Hi guys thanks for reading the book so far. Hope you are all enjoying it. Hope you liked the last 3 chapters of the chat log between Dream and Wolf. Please keep the comments coming I love hearing from you I appreciate everything you are doing for me by giving this book a chance.
Chase P.O.V After logging off from the chat I start to browse the net to read up about this movie that Dream was talking about. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Jen walking passed. “Hey Jen, can you help me out a sec?” “Sure, what’s up?” “I’ve just rented a movie on Prime and wanted to see if Mom would like to watch it with me.” “Seriously! A movie with Mom! What movie?” “Well, um this girl who I’m talking to has suggested to watch her favorite movie. The movie is The Lost Valentine. Have you heard of it or even seen it?” “I’ve heard of it yeah but not seen it. Can I join you and Mom in watching it when you do?” “Yeah, I’d like that. All I got to do is find the read-up about it and ask Mom if she wants to watch it with us.” “Have you tried this site?” she leans over me and types in the website she was talking about. “Here it is we can buy it now and watch it instantly.” “I’ve already rented it from Prime thanks Jen, but do you think we could watch it in the family
Checking the time, I see it’s getting late so I help Dad wake Jen up and I help her up into her room so she can go back to sleep. One thing I have learned about my sister is never to wake her up and leave her to her own devices as she is a zombie, and she can be a lethal bitch when she’s in that mode. Once she is sat on her bed, I start to leave but she stops me by grabbing my arm and makes me turn around to look at her. “What’s up, Jen?” “Chase, I know I’m half asleep and I know you won’t take anything I say right now seriously but I’m gonna say it anyway.” She stands up, grabs her PJs, and heads towards her bathroom to get changed, leaving the door slightly ajar so I can hear what she is saying. “I can see how happy this mystery girl is making you, and that you asked her to be your date to the Christmaquarde Ball, I’m only wanting to say please be careful and don’t scorch yourself for jumping into the fire before you’re certain on how you feel.” “I hear what you’re saying Jen a
Savannah P.O.V Man, I hate waking up feeling more tired than when I first go to bed. After a delicious dinner and our daily chat with Dad, I did a little bit of studying and some designing for the ball and called it a night. But what a night it was. I couldn’t sleep for the first time since I moved to California all I did at night was toss and turn. I have a feeling I know what caused it. Wolf. I hope he’s not had as bad of a night’s sleep as I did. Plus, I also hope he managed to watch that movie last night too. I’m looking forward to hear what he has to say about it. Arriving at school I sit on the steps outside the main entrance building going over some of the plans for the winter formal whilst I’m waiting for the girls to turn up. I sat on the steps for maybe ten minutes before I heard Jen approach. I look up to see her and Chase walking and talking together before Chase heads in a separate direction. Before he parted from his sister, he looked in my direction, smiled at me, a
Toni’s famous meatloaf now that is something I’m looking forward to. I love her meatloaf. I know it’s not for everyone but how Toni cooks it it’s better than how Dad made it and that’s saying something as my dad was the cook out of him and Mom. I could never make it like his, but I won’t tell him that Toni’s meatloaf is better than his. Savannah: Can’t wait see you later Dad. *** The end of the school day couldn’t come any quicker. All Jen and Selena were talking about all day were different dresses. From the material to the silhouette, to the color. I thought I was bad but damn they went into more detail about the dresses they're looking for than I did. I’m waiting on the steps where we said we would meet at the end of the day for the girls to turn up. I didn’t have to wait long before someone came along. But it wasn’t Jen or Selena. It was Chase. He approaches me slowly, never removing me from his view. He came and sat down on the steps next to me as I waited. “Hey Savannah
A fifteen-minute car journey and we arrive on Rodeo Drive. It was surprisingly quick to get here and seeing it in real life is different from how I’ve seen it in movies and TV shows. I can see why the girls were excited to come this is like Disneyland for women it is that magical. Lockwood Boutique looks so beautiful outside with its window displays and the gold writing on a latte brown color marquee it’s breathtaking. Jen walks over to a buzzer near the entrance and waits for someone to answer. “Good afternoon, Lockwood Boutique.” “Hi Charlene, it’s Jen, Mom should be expecting us.” “Oh, hello Jen dear, yes you are on the booking come on in ladies.” The door opens and there is a petite older lady with strawberry blonde hair with chocolate highlights, holding it open for us. We walk into the store and are presented with a choice of a glass of water or orange juice. I pick up a glass of water from a lady named Hannah who is holding the tray, “thank you.” Just as I take a sip o
Just as I spotted the section of different shades of blue dresses Selena came out of the dressing room to show us how she looked in the dress. She walked up to the mirror, stood on the raised platform, and raised her eyes to see what she looked like. All eyes were on her she looked breathtaking in that dress. “Sel, you have to buy it, that is the dress.” “I agree with Jen that dress looks like it was designed for you. You look so happy Sel.” “I will admit,” Selena says happily as she looks at us “I do feel like I am having that bridal moment without being a bride.” Jen’s mom walks up to stand beside Selena looking at her reflection in the mirror. “If you are having that moment then it’s the dress. I remember having the same moment with my senior winter formal, my senior prom, and my wedding dress.” “I do have that moment, but it feels like I need a belt to sinuate the waist. Could that be possible?” “Sweetie, I have a black jewel crusted belt with a matching mask that will
It’s time I step out of this dressing room to see what my friends think, and to do my mom proud and follow her advice, hold my head up high, and smile in that mirror as I will be smiling at her. Taking a calming breath, I grab hold of that curtain and open it, I’m stopped short to only be met with the smiling faces of my friends almost jumping out of my skin. “Shit guys what are you doing here,” I say holding onto my chest, trying to get my breathing back to normal. “We came to check on you,” Jen says with a worried tone in her voice. “Yeah, we came to see if you were okay as we thought you were taking your time ‘cause of your mom’s letter, we thought we’d come and give you a little bit of encouragement if it was needed.” both of my friends giving me comfort holding onto my hands but Selena does have a point it has taken me some time to come out of this dressing room because of my mom’s letter and I might have needed the encouragement to come out if I was in there a little longer
I don’t think I have ever seen Dad speechless never mind saying anything mushy to me that has always been reserved for my mom. “Do you like it?” “Sav baby girl I love it you are the double of your mother at this age, my heart cannot get more fuller for the love I have for you and your mother no matter how much we both miss her; this was your mother’s color is that why you picked it?” I smile and nod and secretly I feel relieved that Dad approves of the dress now I know I did make the right choice with the style that is me and the color that is my mom. “I love the dress on you baby girl I can only imagine what your mom would be saying to you right now, but there is something of hers I would love for you to wear to your winter formal.” “I would be honored to wear anything of Mom’s what is it?” Dad searches in his pockets to try and find what he is looking for, but he comes up empty. “I must have left it on my desk at the office I’m sorry baby girl, but I will show you it later I

Chase P.O.VFour years later Well, it’s been four amazing years in San Fransisco. Savannah and I graduated college last week. I got a degree in Business and in Finance, where Savannah got one in English Literature and in Music. Where I double majored in college Savannah had a major in English but a minor in music. We both graduated with high honors. The world is now our oyster. But before we can even think about anything to do with the world and how we wish to change it I am back at the office wanting to speak to Savannah’s father. It is now time we had that discussion I said I planned to have with him back when we were seniors in high school. Fuck that feels like forever ago. I told her father on the night of the Christmasqurade ball that one day I will come to him to ask for his daughter’s hand in marriage and today is that day. I have arranged for a meeting with Mr. Blakemore to take place in the company’s board room and I asked my dad to be present during this meeting. I plan fo
It has been a couple of weeks since prom and the big day is approaching quickly. Today we get our yearbooks and get them signed before graduation day that is this Saturday. It’s hard to believe this is our final week in high school. It feels like today is still my first day of school but it’s actually almost my last. Not paying attention to where I was going or who was around me with my yearbook in hand I collide into a big, solid mass of a person knocking my books, my yearbook, and some odd bits of paper all over the floor. Bending down to pick everything up, still not paying attention to who I bumped into, on instinct I do apologize to the person as I start picking up my things. I see the person I bumped into bend down and starts to help me with picking up my things and holds out my English book and my notes to hand back to me. I can’t believe I’ve done this again. “You may need these sweetheart,” Hang on a minute? Did I just? Looking up I see Chase smiling at me as he holds my stuf
We all climb out of the limo and the guys are all holding our arms and escorts us up into the building. Two doormen kindly open the door for us and welcome us to the Crystal Palace and to enjoy our evening. First stop for us as Chase and Lucas recommended is to get our pictures done first so then that way, we don’t look too red faced or sweaty. That is actually not a bad idea if you think about it. We get a bunch of pictures took, we had solo pictures, the six of us together, just the girls, just the guys, and with our dates. I can’t wait to see how the pictures come out because I will be getting a copy of every single one. Entering into the ballroom of the palace we can hear the DJ playing ‘Just Dance’ by Lady Gaga. We walked around couples and across the dancefloor to the only table that is free for us to claim. The girls and I put our purses on the table and hit the dance floor with how good the music is sounding. After a couple of songs, the guys joined us on the dance floor alre
After clipping my bow into place, I have one final look at myself in my bathroom mirror before I step out and show the girls. Walking to the door, putting my hand on the handle I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and open the bathroom door. On the other side of the door, I see Jen and Selena with their phones taking my picture and recording me as I walk out. Putting a huge smile on my face I walk out the bathroom giving the girls a twirl and a cute little princess curtsey I have seen Princess Catherine do before. The girls laugh and comment how incredible I look, and Jen commented on the bow. “How big did you want that thing? Fuck Sav that’s the biggest ass bow I have ever seen stuck on anybody’s ass.” We laugh at her comment as I walk over to my vanity. Sitting down on my stool I put in a pair of my mom’s diamond and pearl drop earrings and her snowflake necklace again. Wearing this necklace makes everything feel like it’s turned in a full circle. Finding out Chase was Wolf behind
Three weeks later Tonight is prom night. The night all the senior girls look forward to the most. Don’t ask me about the guys some look forward to it for other reasons than what it means. The girls and I are getting ready together. We all booked to get our hair and makeup done at a salon today for tonight. We are sat in the chairs getting pampered away, a treat from Selena’s Abuela, as she said no Nieta of hers will not go to prom without having a beauty day at the salon. We all chose to have a French manicure and pedicure, to keep it simple. We also showed our makeup artists pictures of our dresses so they could do our makeup to match our dresses. Jen’s hair shaped her face beautifully. She had a volumized high ponytail with some hair extensions that matched her hair color perfectly with elegant curls and some curls framing her face. To finish the look off she had this black jeweled crystal hair clip she slid into the top part of the ponytail. Jen’s makeup made her look much older t
Walking into the house I see Dad sat on the stairs with what looks like a photo album in his hand. I shut the door behind me and slowly approach him looking at the sad expression on his face as he stares at a photo in the book. When I got closer, he looked up at me with unshed tears in his eyes. When I asked him if everything was okay, he said that everything was fine and he was just living back in the past, and he showed me the page he was looking at in the photo album. It was Mom and Dad’s high school graduation. It was the picture of Mom with her diploma and then Dad with his diploma and under that was the picture of the two of them together. Dad told me the story about how him and Mom met in high school. Hearing what he said was almost a de ja vu. Mom bumped into Dad as she wasn’t watching where she was going, and Dad bent down to help Mom pick up her things and he said it was like love at first sight. We sat on the stairs for a few more minutes just talking and reliving the good
The school year is flying by. Finals are vastly approaching; concert rehearsals are in full swing and it’s almost time for prom season. Chase has been working hard at school and working harder with football. Right now, he has done all he can to impress the college scouts. We all have been working hard I’ve even seen Jen studying some pre law books and even reading about the LSATS. Selena went to some business seminars to see if that is truly the route she wants to go down after graduation. Lucas has been working just as hard if not harder than Chase with his school work and with football. Greg on the other hand has slacked off a little but he has already confirmed he has a secured place in college already. But which one? I don’t know. College acceptance letters should be coming in the post soon but how long after finals will they arrive? Hopefully not long as I believe they wait for finals and the final grades before sending out the letters. All this pressure can make or break some hi
Lunch in hand, Selena and I start walking to the bleachers when Greg and Lucas catch up to us, and the four of us walk together the rest of the way. Jen and Chase are already sat up in the bleachers as we arrived. Lucas helped Selena up with her food and Chase came down to help with mine and we went and joined Jen and enjoy our lunch together. We joked around and had a good time just as we should do at our age because with this being our senior year we only have a short time together like this before we go our separate ways for college. Speaking of college, we all talked about where we have applied for and where we hope to go. Lucas has had a couple of calls from college scouts and Chase said he has had the same but the one he is hoping to hear from he has not just yet. Jen said she is wanting to do a couple of years in one college and then go to Harvard to study law as that is where she feels more passionate, and she gets to be part of the family business in some way or another.
