Chapter 63

Just as I spotted the section of different shades of blue dresses Selena came out of the dressing room to show us how she looked in the dress. She walked up to the mirror, stood on the raised platform, and raised her eyes to see what she looked like. All eyes were on her she looked breathtaking in that dress.

“Sel, you have to buy it, that is the dress.”

“I agree with Jen that dress looks like it was designed for you. You look so happy Sel.”

“I will admit,” Selena says happily as she looks at us “I do feel like I am having that bridal moment without being a bride.”

Jen’s mom walks up to stand beside Selena looking at her reflection in the mirror. “If you are having that moment then it’s the dress. I remember having the same moment with my senior winter formal, my senior prom, and my wedding dress.”

“I do have that moment, but it feels like I need a belt to sinuate the waist. Could that be possible?”

Mine came with me when it was my prom and she even done my hair for me. I am just like Savannah I lost mine to cancer 5 years ago and that is one memory I will forever treasure

T J, that was beautifully written. I remember when my Mom and I went shopping for my Prom dresses. I had wish my Mom had been with us when I took my daughter for her Prom dress too.
