Ella's POV

My feet could barely keep up with how fast I wanted to go. I wasn't just walking anymore - I was practically running, unable to contain my excitement at the thought of finally seeing Trent again.

With each hurried step, I replayed his text over and over in my mind. "Ella, we need to talk."
