Chapter 96: Golden Child

2 year later

In an unknown secret base, in one of the underground torture rooms, the voice of a man being tortured could being heard.

The man screamed out in horror as the hot dagger was stabbed on his palm. The pain was too unbearable for him to bear.

Oliver stood there and watch his men torture the hell out of the man.

“Boss he has lost consciousness” Jack said

“Then wake him up” Oliver said

“But…….” Jack wanted to explain that the torture was already too much for him to handle but when he saw the cold look on the face of his boss, he could not finish his statement. Jack swallowed and immediately proceeded to pick another dagger on the fire and stabbed it in the other arm of the man which made him wide awake and screaming in pain.

The man in question was one of his business partners in the underworld who had dared to betray him, he would have to serve as an example for others to follow.

After a while of torture Oliver finally signaled for Jack to stop which he immediately did.
