Chapter 190: Check-Up

After finishing the meeting, Liam quietly pushed open the bedroom door, careful not to wake Suzy.

However, he found her still awake, working late into the night at her computer.

He frowned slightly and quietly approached to look at the data and reports on her screen. "Is the workload I've given you too heavy?"

Suzy jumped, startled. "When did you get here? I didn't see you."

"Just now, you were very focused." Liam sat at the end of the bed. "I'll ask Alec to lighten your load."

"No need! I asked him to delegate these tasks to me."

While speaking, Suzy did not stop her work, "I've been resting recently, and he's probably been too busy to sleep. Now that I've taken some of the workload, it should give him a chance to breathe."

"But you need to work overtime every day to handle all this."

"It won't be for long, just a week at most."

Suzy marked the documents one by one, saved them, and finally closed her computer with a sigh of relief. "Don't worry about me, I know my own limits."
