Trouble In Paradise

Damien's POV.

I was stunned by everything that was playing on the screen. Files and documents of illegal transactions were being shown but I knew nothing about them.

I might be shrewd or have a special way of taking care of things but I had never done anything this terrible. Most of my money was from the company and other businesses that I was a partner in.

Everything playing on that screen was false but people around me were staring at me with disgust in their eyes. As the video went further to show a brothel that was owned by me, my jaw dropped.

I didn't even own a bar. I had never been interested in that sort of business because they always had scandals attached to them.

The women around me started saying despicable things.

"Do you traffic women there?" one of them asked, her voice laced with irritation. "Do you force women into prostitution?"

"Aren't you rich enough? Why would you try destroying other people's lives for more profit, huh?" another asked.

They kept bombardin
