Kidnapped

Elise's POV.

"Crush?" He raised his brows at me.

I had never told him that I had always been interested in him since my younger days. But I believed that there was no reason to talk about the past anymore because that would only bring back horrible memories. Memories that I didn't want to remember.

"You just called me, your crush. Don't tell me that—" He laughed unable to complete his sentence.

"Let's not talk about that," I gently pushed him off me and he lay by my side.

I grabbed the duvet and used it to cover my nakedness.

"The rain is still drizzling," I muttered and turned to look at him.

"I used to play and dance a lot in the rain when I was a kid. It used to be fun but then…" He trailed off like he recalled something that he didn't want to talk about.

"Then what?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

Damien sighed, shaking head. "Nothing, I just stopped and probably lost interest in it,"
