Chapter 964

Tim dragged Sage away by the neck. She felt like her fate was in his hands. She had to keep explaining along the way to convince Tim that she did not do anything with Jace.

Even so, Tim's face remained cold. He glanced at Sage and spoke in a slow and deep voice.

"How long are you going to hide him?"

"Hide what?" Sage blinked her eyes. "I'm not hiding him."

"If you're not, why won't you bring him to me?"

Tim saw right through Sage. "What? Are you afraid I'll hit him?"

Sage thought, 'I'm not afraid of that. I'm afraid you'll kill him.'

"Tim." Sage observed Tim's expression and spoke tentatively, "It's illegal to hit someone or kill someone in the country. Please don't act rashly."

"I don't need you to teach me the law. I know it better than you."

Tim cast a sideway glance at her and said meaningfully, "You can avoid this for now, but not forever. If you can, try and hide him forever."

"Wow! Tim, you've gotten better with your words now! Good job!"
