Sage kept her cool no matter what Jace asked. "So what if it is? What if it isn't?"

Jace compressed his thin lips and said, "I want to meet Doctor S."

Sage was speechless. Was he deaf?

Sage almost lost it. "You can meet her anytime you want. I'm not stopping you, and you don't need to ask for my permission, not to mention asking for my help!" Jace blocked her once again as she tried to close the door the third time. She kicked him in the leg. While he scowled in pain, she slammed the door close loudly.

He was completely healed. Sage kicked him hard with no mercy.

Meanwhile, Jaxon, on the other hand, stayed wide awake throughout the entire night. He slept on a huge bed in a luxury room, and his dreams were finally coming true. He should be sleeping soundly, but he couldn't stop thinking about Dean falling down the hill with blood all over his leg and Sage's death stare.
