Gwyneth's heart ached as her pearl necklace was now scattered across the ground. She had begged for such an item from Zane for almost a month.

She could not believe it was ruined just like that by Sage. She clenched her teeth in protest, but she could not let the crowd see her in distress.

She smiled forcibly and said, "I heard the Norah family has house rules for the young ones to respect the seniors. Is this how you greet your aunt?"

"You're not too much older than me. How dare you call yourself a senior?" Sage said it slowly with no visible intonations and added, "Out of respect for my uncle, I called you aunty. You really think you're significant to me?"

Sage sat down on one of the chairs and looked up at Gwyneth who was almost losing it.

"Even my uncle meant nothing to me. You're clearly mistaken here. I'm the senior in the Norah Family."

Gwyneth stood frozen. She then looked at Leah and smirked, "Leah, come greet your Mommy."

Leah snapped and said, "You're not my mother!"
