Chapter 1086

It was the last rain in the spring as the weather slowly warmed up. It was the start of June.

On that morning, Jace had to send Sage to the airport. His mood had been on the downside since early morning. Both of them sat at the back of the car. Jace was grasping Sage's hand tightly in his hands. He played with her hands like it was made out of clay while acting like an elderly old man and kept on sighing.

Sage looked at him and was amused by his action. "What's wrong with you?"

Jace turned his head to the side and looked at her. He furrowed his brow and looked sad, while Sage looked energetic and cheerful. He turned from being moody into depressed.

He turned side way to embrace Sage into his arms and placed his head on her shoulder while acting like a kid. "Why don't I go with you."

"I'll buy another air ticket, and we could go back to Salem City together," he said while lifting his head and looking at her with hope and anticipation.
