Sage's eyes were closed. Somehow, his voice sounded clear in her ears. His low murmur sounded seductively charming.

Sage wanted to open her eyes, but Jace would not let her. He removed the cucumber slices on the eyelids and replaced them with an icy cold eye mask. It was very comfortable on the eyes, but she was blinded.
