Jace stroked her head with a bright smile. "Okay."

After paying the bill, Jace and Sage came out of the clothing store. Sage bought more clothes and gave several sets of clothes to the bodyguard. Then, she told them to refrain from any unwanted attention.

Sage's bodyguard, Alan, asked, "Miss, what are we doing here again? Are we really here to act? I'm not good at acting. What if I fail at it?"

"Get changed! What's with all the nonsense!"

Sage still remembered Alan's nonsense babble on the phone. She wanted to beat him up, but she held back.

She told the bodyguards to find a place to park the car and wait for them in it tonight. If things went well, they could leave first thing in the morning.

"So you're not leaving tonight?" Alan poked his head out of the window and asked, "Where will you and Mister Jace sleep? Do you need to set up a tent? I can help!"
