His Wife

Matthew woke up early the next morning. He was glad that it was a weekend, so he had time to spend with Emerald. But he received a call from the family home asking for him.

He had no intention of traveling that far, so he got out of bed and entered his office to take the meeting online.

Before the meeting started, he recalled that he had to transfer a butler over and took out his phone to make a call.

“Sir,” he heard Mr. Martin answer.

“Are you back from your holiday, Fin?” Matthew asked.

“Yes, Sir,” Mr. Martin answered.

“pack your bags. You will not be serving the main mansion anymore,” he said.

“Where will I be serving, sir?” Mr. Martin asked.

“You will be serving at the Hill Mansion, where my wife is living,” he said and there was a pause o y he other end.

“Congratulations, sir,” Mr. Martin said.

“Thank you,” Matthew answered with a smile.

“I am about to go in for a meeting. When you arrive, make sure she gets what she wants,” Matthew ordered.
