“I'll help you find proof.” Karina said, interupting my thoughts.

“Huh?” I turned to face her.

“Why? Didn't you say..”

“I said I had no intentions of being friends with you after the problem is solved but we can still work together for now. You'll need all the help you can get.”

She was right.

“So.. can you bring me my phone from my mother's cabin, I need to contact my husband and makes sure he knows I'm safe—”

“—Blah blah blah,” Karina said. “I won't be helping you do that because we're not close!”

I knew but I still wanted to give a shot. I didn't want Armin to worry about me or rush down and create a scene but I also knew better than to try and urge Karina.

She was a straight forward person, there was no changing her mind.

“So what do I do now?” I wasn't sure.

My approach to solving issues was barging into the situation and pulling it by the horn but I knew I had to craft out a strong plan and be pragmatic like Armin in his approach.

JASMINE'S POV “I now declare you husband and wife.” The priest announced with a solemn look on his face. I looked at the man in front of me through the white veil covering my face, slightly disgusted. He was the man my parents chose for me to marry to ensure peace in both of our territories. The marriage didn't make sense to me, but my father told me I would understand with time. The only thing I understood about my husband was that he was wealthy and had an affluent lifestyle. Before this, I had a boyfriend I deeply cared about. His name was Armin, and he was my mate, but unfortunately, things turned out like this, I had to marry someone else. “Uhm,” The priest coughed, “You may kiss the bride.” The man in front of me let out a sly smile and stretched his hands towards me to remove the veil. “Idiot,” I muttered under my breath and felt eyes staring at me. I was a fool to think I could whisper any bad words. The entire congregation was werewolves.Which meant their hea

“Where is Luke?” I asked downstairs in the dining room as Armin, and I ate breakfast.“He left since we got here yesterday.” Armin said, “You didn't notice that, of course, as you were busy.” Armin said with a smirk.I gave Armin a dirty look as he ran his fingers through his blonde hair seductively.I didn't know why I fell for him. Blondes were never my thing. I preferred brunettes like myself even though I was on the lighter brown spectrum.“Jas, have more vegetables,” Armin said, placing more lettuce on my plate.“Thank you,” I commented. We had so many dishes on the table, but I was only interested in vegetables today.Maybe it was because I had no appetite. After sleeping with Armin, I thought about why my parents wanted me to marry him.My pack was called Shadow Ace.We werewolves trained since six years old to become self-sufficient. Although we weren't much in number, we made up for it with our strength.A member of shadow ace was strong enough to take down at least thirty wo

*** The next dayWhen I woke up, Armin was gone. I immediately tried to sit up, and that was when I realized I couldn't, not without my legs hurting.Yesterday memories flooded my head, and I immediately knew why my thighs were sore, hurting the efficiency of my leg's movement.I went to the bathroom first and the tub, turning on the water supply. I soaked for as long as I could until I felt better. When I got bored, I got out of the tub and slid on a green dress, ensuring the belts were in place.I wasn't going to take any chances with Armin and let him inside me again. At least until I'd recovered. I slid on flats and headed outside of my room, only to be met with the smell of blood. My insides churned. What the hell was going on?!I hurried and followed the scent downstairs with my painful legs. “Armin!” I said through the mind link. I could smell his scent around the house, but I couldn't pinpoint the smell of blood that was stronger.“I smell blood. Where are you?”The sound o

At the hospital, Armin was wheeled into an empty room, and the door was shut. From a distance, I spotted a well-known doctor. He was one of us yet influential in both the human world and the world of the most elite wolves.“Doctor Finn,” I called and rushed towards him. He did not know me, but I'd seen him severally in magazines.Although he was a doctor, he was also boiling. So his pictures showed up many times on the top handsome men list.He was beautiful with his long black hair and dark skin tone. He had deep green eyes, soft pink lips, and a smile that could melt the world. He was wearing a smirk that could turn any man gay.“Excuse me, pretty lady.” He walked past me and headed to the door. “There's a job that needs to be done.”Without waiting for a response, the door was slammed shut, and I had no choice but to wait.I could trust the doctor, couldn't I? He was good-looking so that he could be very good at his job.I exhaled. That was it. Luke looked at me and said, “I think

We arrived at a mobile phone store, and we were immediately ushered in by the security guards.Inside, we were greeted by some of the workers.“Tentin,” One of the workers gushed, her eyes filled with unshed tears as she approached us. She cleared her throat as she stood before us, “C-can I help you? I can be of service to you if you want. I mean, I'm willing to do anything to please you.” Tentin grinned and ran his hand through his hair. It was his charm that attracted the woman to him. I could see that she was a human. Human females tended to fall quickly for a guy that looked a bit average in looks, while female wolves rated a man's attractiveness based on his strength.“What's the latest iPhone?” Tentin asked.“iPhone 12. Do you want one?”“Absolutely. Get me one with a green customized color.”“Right away. Please have a seat.”I looked at Tentin, and he sent a wink my way before grabbing my wrist and sitting me down on the beautiful white couch. Now that I looked at it correctl

I tried to do my makeup and it ended up pretty good. I felt amazing and I looked exactly like how I felt so I took a selfie and posted it on Instagram with the caption, feeling good. Then I placed my phone on the table and proceeded to slip on a few pieces of jewelry around my neck, wrists and ankles.I walked out of the room and to the dinning room. Second day after the blood full moon**When I opened my eyes, I was in a cave and it felt warm and cozy. Before I fell unconscious I was on the mountain, cold and half dead.I immediately stood up from the mat I was laying on and heard a voice behind me say. “Don't move!”I turned around and was beyond shocked to see Karina. We stopped talking about two years ago. It was beyond shocking that she saved me.“You saved me?” I voiced, very grateful that I didn't die. Armin would be so pissed if I died so pathetically.“Yes, it's not like you'd die due to a fall anyways. Look at you, you're perfectly fine now.”I swung my arms and moved my feet. They felt great but a bit heavy.Werewolves had the great ability to heal quickly. Of course, I was no exception.I looked at my ring finger, the one Firdaus twisted. It kinda hurt.I moved it back to it's proper place and it made a crack sound.Karina winced and looked at me irritatedly, “Does that not hurt?”I looked at her briefly, “It does.”Ka

It sounded cheesy.“It's the name I gave my little abound. “Where's my father?” I asked as Jasper dragged my luggages behind him lazily.“Hunting. Don't you remember what today is? If not for today's ceremony, many of our pack members would come out to greet you.”Right. April twenty two. By midnight, a new moon would emerge. The blood moon. The moon at the time would enhance our innate abilities, it was also the times wolves tended to lose control of themselves.Finding your mate by this time could be thrilling and some girls fantasised about it because of the sex. I shook my head at it. The teenager read too many werewolves fanfiction these days it was messing up with their brains.Rough sex wasn't healthy and shouldn't be glorified.Look who's talking. I heard my wolf criticize.I looked at the huge mansion in front of me, where I used to live.I sniffed the air then walked past it. Surprised, Jasper followed after me yelling, “Aren't you going to your house? This is the perfect time to settle in so you don't deal with questions..”I tur

We went on several dates after I prepared my documents to travel. It was scheduled for the next week Tuesday and Armin had become somewhat clingy, he trailed me all over the house and whenever he was at work he'd call me just to say some cliche word. It made me not want to leave anymore. His plan to make me stay almost worked but I remembered the purpose of leaving and I stuck to it.On Tuesday morning, Armin drove me to the airport and the realization set in. We were going to be apart but it was necessary. I deemed leaving necessary.“So this is it,” I said as I heard an announcement that we were about to take off.My luggages had been taken away and all I had left was my purse.“When I'm gone, you should eat well and not skip meals. No- I demand you send photos of your breakfast, lunch and dinner–”I was interupted by Armin pulling me into his tight embrace.“You must come back to me after three months.”We had agreed on three months.“If not, I'll go to London to find you wherever

I feel the same way about you too.”“Even without the mate bond I think I'd still be attached to you.”“Whatever.” I said, “You wanted to tell me the truth about the blonde housekeeper, Kate?”“She's from your pack, Shadow Ace.”I looked at Armin seriously, my heart pace

A minute felt like hours. As I sat in the car patiently, my legs shook on their own. I was freaking worried. And I couldn't hear any sounds from the mansion. Please..I looked at the mansion door entrance through the glass window but Armin wasn't there yet. I was becoming reckless. What to do now ?Hours passed and I feared the worst. I jumped out of the car and rushed towards the mansion entrance only for the door to open revealing Armin. His eyes were back to their natural gray but his aura still exuded some coldness.“Didn't I say you should stay in the car?”My eyes were becoming blurry again due to tears.“Why did you take so long?!” Angrily, I ran my hands around his waist and hugged him tightly.“Arminnn,” I cried. “You scared the living hell out of me!!”“Let's get out of here first.” He said patting my head.I sniffed him and that was when I noticed he'd changed his s

I turned to the side of the bed and Armin left the room to continue talking on the phone. These days, I didn't post as much because I didn't have as much content but I had an idea I didn't bother to develop.Well, it wasn't entirely my idea. It was Felix's idea. He used to write poems to me and it never failed to reach my heart everytime. I just had sex with my husband yet here I was, thinking of Felix. This wasn't the first time this week that he crossed my mind. And somehow I couldn't think of shutting him down. He was my first. Be it in love, sex or adventures. He was the first that make my heart pound and my pussy pulsating. He was everything for me. My lover and friend. Armin however was.. I stopped my mind. Why was I comparing them again? They were entirely different people. Felix was kindhearted and protective of everyone
