I got home, thinking about how I got myself into this mess. Alpha Dylan had asked for me to keep coming over to the palace and I couldn’t object. Who objects to an Alpha’s command? Except the person wants a duel, and I obviously can’t have a duel with him.

I walked down the street in the afternoon, feeling down as my only means of survival and hope to pay off anyone I plan to borrow money from. While I was walking down an alley, I felt a presence and I looked back only to see Alpha Dylan’s beta.

“The Alpha has asked to see you.” He said, without flinching.

I sighed, then followed him. When I got to Alpha Dylan’s room, he was on his bed, staring at me confidently. Yeah, anyways, I have got nothing to lose. And I wasn’t satisfied with the man at the restaurant, anyways. I guess I’ll just be his sex slave.

“What do I want? Did I hear right?” I asked as my eyes widened in surprise.

“Well, no offence, Alpha, but with all I have heard and seen, you are kind of cold, and distant. So, it is surprising you would ask me what I want.”

“Well, you are right. But it doesn’t mean I do not do the right thing. I am an Alpha king. I have to be just. And you have managed to do what others find hard to do, so I should reward you. Before I change my mind, what do you want?”

Somehow, I noticed how breathtaking he was. If only people saw this side of him, they won’t totally see him as a cold and ruthless Alpha.

“Well, I would like a restaurant of my own, and appoint chefs.” I said, hoping I didn’t ask for too much.

“Alright. I’ll see to that.”

Then his beta came over and whispered into his ear, and Alpha Dylan looked in the direction of an old woman, who was smiling at him. And then he left me, and went straight to meet the old woman. I couldn’t hear what they were saying, but what got me curious was the fact that he glanced at me.

After speaking to the old woman, I followed him back to the palace, on his orders, and we had sex. But there was something different about this particular sex. It wasn’t the usual rough sex, but a rather slow and passionate. Just as I was about to leave, he stood up.

“I do not think you will leave this palace, anymore.” He said as he poured himself a glass of water.

“I do not understand.”

“You will be my Luna.” He said.

“I…I do not understand, Alpha. We never talked about that.” I said, looking baffled.

“I am the Alpha, and I can do as I please. Neon!” He called out to his beta, and he came in.

“Take her to the Luna-to-be chamber.” He commanded, as he gave me a cold stare.

“Oh, no, let me go. Please! You promised me a restaurant.” I shouted as his beta dragged me away.

“I did. And that was when you weren’t my Luna-to-be.” He said as he gulped down his water and I was dragged away to the chamber.

I looked around. It was a fancy bed and a big space. But this meant confining me. I wasn’t going to be free anymore. Who cares about being a Luna? I was okay with being free, outside these palace walls. I couldn’t bear becoming the Luna of this kingdom, I had to find a way to escape.

“Well, you know the consequences of running away. You wouldn’t dare.” My wolf growled lightly.

“Oh, shut up. I am not interested in being limited as a Luna. You do not understand the limitations of being his Luna, do you?” I said sharply as I looked up at the window.

I smirked as I planned to leave at night as that was the only chance I could get. When it was night, I managed to jump down the window and sneaked out of the palace. I ran through the forest, hoping to get to another kingdom and stay there for a while, then when the issue dies down, I’ll go back to take my things and then leave. I ran as fast as the wind could take me and when I stopped to catch my breath, I heard voices.

“She must have passed this way. Hurry!”

Oh, no. How did they know I was no longer in the palace? I began to run and was looking back to see how close they were to me, but unfortunately, I tripped and hurt my knee and before I could heal back, the guards got to me, and dragged me back to the palace. I was taken to the dungeon where I dreaded Alpha Dylan, coming to see me.

Just as I dreaded, he came down to the dungeon, with a face, expressing anger and my heart began to beat fast. He could kill me for daring him.

“You dare escape.” He said, with his eyes, darting towards me, sharply, and my legs became wobbly, and  then he pinned my neck to the wall.
