Chapter Thirty Six: Bundle of Nerves

RUBY seemed to be in a daze, her feet leading her to the parking lot where she frantically looked for the company car. However, she froze in her tracks upon realizing the car was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is my car? Did Adam have it fixed?"

Despite being anxious, she walked out of the ALV compound again and hailed a taxi to Adam's condo.

After over an hour, she finally arrived at Adam's condo. She quickly entered the passcode provided by Adam's mother, and the door suddenly opened.

Finding no one in the living room, she hesitantly walked around, searching for Adam's room.

She heard a noise coming from a room on the right, so she followed it. Upon reaching the door, she noticed it was Adam's room. The door was slightly open, so she didn't bother knocking.

She wanted to surprise them if they were doing something horrible, so she could catch them in the act.
