A Plan

Max snapped out of his thoughts and hurriedly pulled away from Lily.

“A… are you okay?” He asked and held her shoulder, Lily breathed heavily and nodded in response.

She looked up at Max and he noticed she was crying already.

“Hey, it's okay.” He said softly and tried to move closer to her but he heard footsteps approaching them, he stopped immediately and took a step back from her.

Axel got to them and before he could say anything, Max walked away. Axel stood in front of Lily as she cried and tried to catch her breath.

“Are you okay?” He asked and she shook her head in response, she tried to wipe her tears but they kept falling, at that point, the death of the Russians wasn't the only reason she was crying, she kept thinking about everything relating to death, including her father.

“I want to go home.” She muttered and sniffed.

“I am not done yet.” Axel replied.
