A Long Week

“I didn't cheat on her, I didn't sleep with Lydia.” Axel said.

“Really? How did your shirt end up with her and why did you admit it?”

“That day, when I went to drop the file with her, she intentionally spilled something on me. I had to take off the shirt and give it to her to clean it up. I guess she wore it then and took the picture.” Axel explained.

“So why didn't you tell Lily about it?” Max asked and he shrugged.

“I don't know, I just felt like admitting it just to avoid talking to Lily about it.”

“Well, now you have to talk to her about it.” Max said and he sighed.

“I know.”

“Oh, I hope you know we might be broke in a month if we keep going on vacations after this car you just bought.” Max said and Axel nodded.

“Yeah, I know. The crime rate in New York is about to go up.” Axel said and Max chuckled.

It was night again, no one came down for dinner, and everyone still wanted to be alone.
