Another annoying day at work

Chapter 12~ Valerie's POV

Settling in my office the following day, as I left home while Mom was still sleeping. I thought to myself while sitting that I was going to enjoy every bit of my day, and then I suddenly heard a knock on my door.

Without waiting for my response, the person opened the door, only for me to discover it was Ruth, I was fumed with anger as I shouted at her, "Ruth, when did you become so rude to barge into my office without waiting to hear my permission,"

Standing firm she said, "I apologize, ma'am, the boss asked me to call you, and he said it was urgent,"

"What does he want now," I whispered silently to myself with a scoff.

"I will be there soon, thank you, you can leave now," I responded to her, as I dismissed her.

And so she left my office, still seated, I wondered, "What does that rich brat want, he shouldn't grow any more annoyance in me,"

Then I stood up, and left for his office, arriving there, I was surprised to see some strange faces seated
