Chapter 13…… “Ah!! Oh my god!!” Like a newborn phoenix starting to shake off the ash, the sun lifted up its head and the grey began to fade. Liquid gold droplets slowly began to glitter in the thin air and the colors made by the rising sun grew more vivid with the passing time. A powerful splintering noise filled the room and echoed throughout the whole villa, when Sofia was screaming her lungs out. Everyone in the palace could wake up to her loud squeaks and rush to her room. It was barely dawn and the sun had not completely risen, however she was panicking like a maniac in her imperial room. “Ahhh!!! I can not find it anywhere!!!” screamed Sofia “Where is it??! How did it disappear??! Who took it??!!! Ahhh!!! Oh my god!!” “My daughter, what happened with you??” cried the mother worriedly, as she rushed towards her daughter’s room as quick as possible. “Sofia, are you alright?” questioned Lydia “You seem scared, did something happen with you??” Lydia
Chapter 14…… “Would you believe me if I say that I don’t know about anything??” she cried “Would you believe me if I say that I have never done this?? Why don’t you believe me, mother? Why don’t you help prove my innocence for my sister?? Why do you always make us fight?!” She clutched at her stepmother’s neat dress tightly. She was honest with them. However, she pushed her away from her body and let go of her face as she stared into her eyes. “Fuck off, Lydia.” Smirked the stepmother “I am not your mother, and you are not my daughter’s sister. You are inferior to us and you have no right to call us your family. Whether you were right of wrong, whether the necklace was yours or not, my daughter needs a necklace to meet her father, so she is getting one.” Endless tears rolled down her pale yet gorgeous face as her lips quivered and shivered. She could not believe what she had heard. She immediately, and without any alert, cried in a loud voice: “Wh… Why would you tre
Chapter 14.5…… (Flashback) “Please…” her cries for help pierced the night “Please… Let me go…” Tears ran down her apple-like cheeks as the cold brisk wind made it painful to breathe. What was once a birthday mating party, turned into an utter nightmare. It felt like a fateful night or a cursed one that led her to the beginning of her misery. That was not how it was supposed to happen, that was not the birthday she was always told about. She could feel blood tickling down the nape of her neck, where he had sunk his fangs and smeared across her bare breasts. The pain of his fangs made it feel unbearable, yet his tender embrace and soft kisses on the wound site made the pain subside slightly. He was the medicine of his own poison. Soothing yet dangerous. His words were echoing in her ears. Words that made all of her body shiver and shake, and he kept repeating and reassuring them. “My mate…” he murmured lustly, as his voice felt full of power and hunger. She d
Chapter 15…… Without any alert, the stepmother pushed Lydia out of the door with her full force. Her hands casted a powerful strength that blew her body up from the ground and made her lose her control. “Ahhh!!” screamed Lydia as she felt light. Everything around her happened quickly and she felt that time could never stop or slow down. Then, a loud exploding voice echoed throughout the house when her body could finally get in contact with the floor. Her body rolled down the stairs from the impact of the push and the loss of her control. She tried to stop her body from falling any further, however she could only realize that she had many bruises, contusions, cuts and scratches that ached and covered her. She moaned in pain and rested unconscious at the end of the stairs. Her body was wrapped with red bloody ribbons and her head was bleeding heavily. Anyone who would see her would only think that she was already dead, only if her loving heart would stop beating for him.
Chapter 16…… The sounds of wolf howling echoed throughout the dark woods, breaking through the loud noise of thunder and rain roars, and showing the dominance of the nature’s controller. The moon was not full back then, and the night was so sooty and risky, yet a white wolf roamed around the forest, searching for his missing. The domineering wolf seemed furious and insane, as he checked every single small corner to find his missing, for two straight days. He searched at the doors, around the villa, in the forest, in the cottage and within the trees but found her nowhere. It had been two days and two nights being in his wolf form and searching unstoppable. Hearing her wailing, crying, calling for his name, soft breaths, and fading heartbeats, his claws led him to the front of the large bay. He stood there for a couple of seconds, as the silver thunder lit up and reflected his white coat of fur. He shined in his place like a screen of snow, or even whiter, then sniffed and
Chapter 17…… His eyes focused on his enemy’s as they reflected the red fire in the lantern; he looked like Satan emerging out of the hell’s depths. He mesmerized his dread gaze at his most hated creature, on the other hand, the man collapsed on his legs as he screamed: “MASTER!!!! IT IS A WOLF!!!!” Hurriedly, the men rushed at the site and witnessed the dread looks of the prince of wolves! The white one! His beastly looks, his wild posture, his powerful aura and his hellish gaze blinded them from looking at Lydia’s body. He had surely controlled their spirits and breaths. Then, all of sudden, the master stared the whole sight and yelled: “LYDIA!!!!! That’s my daughter!!!!” “Oh my god, this is lady Lydia!” yelled a man. “What have you done for her, beast??? Do you think you monsters can take my wife and my daughter, too????” The white wolf revealed his hungry fangs and wore the fighting posture. He was ready to protect her even if it meant killing them. He had
Chapter 18…… “Why is she still alive??” thought Mrs. Lanchester. For several moments she stood unmoving as she was drowning in her own fear, then she said: “We… Welcome, honey! Lo… long time… I… I… miss…” “Why is Lydia in such a condition??” yelled Mr. Lanchester “I told you to take care of her, so what happened???” “Ahh…. Ly… Lydia… My daughter… She went out on her own… I… I didn’t notice…” Her attempt to kill her failed, yet she couldn’t find any excuse to tell her husband. She had always hated Lydia, because she was the reason her husband did not love her. Then, she rolled her eyes, then approached her husband slowly and seductively, and laid her head on his arm as her eyes teared and misted. “Get away, liar!!” he yelled as he pushed her away and took Lydia into her room. Anger burned hot in his guts as he witnessed his beloved daughter in such a miserable condition. He could kill a person. His head felt dizzy and his face felt hot. He clenched h
Chapter 19…… “Eugene…” she murmured “Eugene… Eugene…” After five days of sleeping, Mr. Lanchester opened his eyes hearing Lydia’s soft words. Her fatherly eyes stared at her pale face and tired fine lines. Her sluggish eyes slightly opened, and a blurred image welcomed her after a long time of fear and loneliness. Gradually, images started to appear and voices echoed in her ears. “Father…” she murmured “Eh? Wha… What happened…” “Lydia!” cried Mr. Lanchester, as he pushed his body onto Lydia’s, wrapped his arms around her and combed her hair with his fingers. He smelled her deeply and remembered her deceased mother, then tears made their way out of his eyes down his cheeks. Tears escaped his eyes like uncontrollable dam; he was frightened that he might lose his beloved daughter. “Father…” cried Lydia as she hugged his neck and tossed her head into his bosom. It was a warmth that she had not felt long ago. She missed his voice, his warmth, his hugs and
