"I found nothing. That man just disappeared into the traffic. No other camers caught him after that. It's like he evaporated or something." Cane reported with frustration blaring in his voice.

Elijah, Dalinda, Milton, Cane, and I sat at the dining table.

I looked at Cane and saw that he was close to flipping out. He didn't just look like he was upset because he couldn't find the man who attacked and almost killed Cilvia. It looked like he was upset for a personal reason, like he needed to catch that man to find something out.

The little piece of paper he found in Cilvia's handbag kept returning to me. I realized that not once did Cane make a comment on that. I've been curious about it all day and night, but it seems Cane didn't want to share it with us.
