96| Dinner date

Miranda looked at Larry's face and didn't want to refuse his assistance.

"Okay," she replied and watched him start the vehicle engine once more. He then drove ahead to a fancy restaurant in town to go on a date with her.

It wasn't Miranda's first time going on a dinner date with Larry; however, she kept thinking about Derrick—how he looked now, how he smiled at her, and how he spoke about her becoming his wife. He didn't say she was going to be his wife; he called her his wife, and she blushed just thinking about him.

"We have arrived, babe," Larry said, but Miranda was lost in her own world and didn't properly hear what he said.

"Babe," Larry called to get Miranda's attention again. Noticing that she appeared lost and in deep thought, his mind relaxed seeing her blushing face, assuming she was thinking about him.

It was past 7 PM, getting dark as night gradually approached. Miranda still looked radiant at that evening hour.
