"That's fine." Lady Loretta didn't press further, as she saw that Miranda was truly dressed and ready to leave their home. She sent the maid to get their breakfast.

Derrick wore a white top and black trousers, similar to what Oliver was wearing.

"Mom," Oliver smiled and settled into the chair next to Miranda, while Derrick walked behind her and took a seat across from her.

Miranda didn't like the fact that Derrick was sitting directly across from her at the dining table, but she suppressed her feelings and focused on finishing her breakfast so she could leave their house on time.

As she sat with her phone, she felt it vibrating. Thankfully, she had put it on silent, but now that she was about to eat, she took it out and turned it off.

Derrick said nothing to Miranda, who was seated across from him as the family gathered around the golden dining table.
