“Ruby?”

He called when he walked into her office, but she wasn’t there.

“I thought Jane said she was here, maybe she left, I got to go find her,”

He said turning to leave.

“I am here,”

She said, popping up from under the table, he stared at her in disbelief.

“What are you doing under the table woman?”

He asked amused at how cute she looked without her glasses on, he has grown so used to her wearing glasses that it kind of felt odd in a cute way.

“Looking for my contact lenses, I was going to put them on but they fell and now I can’t find them and I am about to go blind,”

She explained, he laughed at her exaggerating the whole thing.

“Let me help,”

He said forgetting why he was here for a moment and helping her look for it, he found it in no time and got up to see her wearing her glasses.

“Why didn’t you just wear the glasses?”

“Because it broke moron,”

She said showing it to him.

“Sorry, here you go,”

He said giving her the contact and watching her put it on, he finally remembered why
