"Roman can't get mated to Genevieve!" Bryce said, as soon as the door opened up. He stormed into the meeting room and scanned it with a livid look on his face.

On the other hand, Nicole looked up at Roman, expecting him to agree to his grandfather's words but then his lips were pulled into a thin line.

"He has to!" Ariel shouted, following after Bryce and contradicting his words.

"The mate bond is sacred and we can't have our next Alpha follow after your footsteps." Ariel added, with a determined look on his face.

All other elders had assembled in the meeting room and they were standing around the meeting table with stern looks on their faces.

However, Zarius, Beth and Nate were seated at the table with blank looks on their faces.

But then a small smile broke onto Zarius' face as he looked toward Nicole.

"Do you think you're worthy of becoming the next Luna? It doesn't matter if Roman's mate has been mated to his grandfather, a mate is a mate." Zarius said to Nicole, with a taunting
