Numb and sore are the only feelings I felt right now.

My eyes slowly open, trying to adjust to the bright rays of the light coming through the window. When I successfully open them up, I slowly sit up straight on the bed and take a deep breath while biting my lip as I feel pain in my back. I stay there for a bit to let the pain fade before I turn to the side and force myself to get out of bed.

I only stop when I see a fresh jug of water and breakfast already placed on my nightstand beside the bed. Feeling thirsty, I pour a glass of water and gulp it in one go. I ignore the pain in my back and push myself to stand up. Once when I am steady and okay I make my way to the bathroom.

Sometime afterward, I clutch the sink on both sides while staring at my reflection in the mirror. '

You look like a train ran over you' Eliz laughs in my head.

'And you sounded like the bitchy Claire' I deadpan and she let out a groan before responding, "don't compare me to that tramp." "If you say so," I tease

"And we're done," I say as I slump back on the bed, feeling exhausted from packing my clothes. 'Elle I need to run' Eliz said as she began to jump around in excitement. I close my eyes, pretending to be sleeping. "Please, don't sleep Elle. I want to run. Don't you miss it," she said in a pleading voice. I know that I am not winning against her. So it is better to do what she wants to do. 'Then you're lucky, I still got enough energy left,' I said, standing up to go.As much as I wanted to rush out but first, we have to make sure that the coast was clear as I don't want to crash into anyone especially Claire, Jea, and Eric. When I don't smell any lingering scent in the hallway or see any sign of anybody. "1, 2, 3" I counted before I sprint, slamming the door of our room and running downstairs as fast as I can. We closed the front door and sped away from the pack-house using my werewolf speed. When I made it to the woods, I check our surrounding to see if there was anyone following u

I take a sip of my hot delicious cocoa and fake a smile at my enemies around the breakfast table. It's not like I want to be here in the kitchen with them in the morning. I chose to stay not because Aaron convinced me to stay but because I promised to try and be on good terms with my enemies before leaving this horrific life. I know they deserved to be cursed and befallen a treacherous fate. However, I am good and I wanted to take the high road.'Oh, moon goddess bless this poor child for being a saint,' Eliz keep singing those words in my head and I try so hard to shut her out but she wouldn't. I say this wolf loves to annoy me.And as for Aaron and me. Well, I do not have to lie and say I do not like Aaron at all. Truth is, I think I do but I am not hundred percent sure about it. It's confusing yet that's life and you cannot just force your feelings if you're not sure."If we are to be attacked again then we should be well prepared," said Eric.I blink and snap out of my thoughts. The news of Cascarade Pack being wiped out by rogues and hunters made me feel so many different emotions and I am drowning inside. I shouldn't feel this way for them, however, the bad deeds done by others do not define the innocent people and young pups that were living in the Cascarade pack.It was hard to understand how the massacre happened and why we were never being informed about it but when Jay explains to us what happened we then understood. He told us that the Cascarade Pack was attacked on the same day, and the rogues tried to kidnap me. It was a surprise attack that no one was prepared for it and so none of the neighboring and allied packs were informed. The wounded warrior that was carried in here, is the only survivor that has been on the runs from the rogues and hunters for days.I can imagine the horror the warrior went through and I hope he survives as his condition is too critical at the moment. "Jea created the barrier but how did the hunters make it through?" Aaron

'Jea was murdered and Zeus is the traitor.' I thought as I woke up in the familiar surroundings of my room at Aaron's pack. I let out a relieved sigh, knowing that I am safe. I then try twisting around on the bed and surprisingly I don't feel sore or experience any pain.'Thanks to the moon goddess.' The door slam open and Aberdeen walks in surprising me. There's a breakfast in her hands which made her focus on balancing the tray and not knowing that I am awake. I smile at her but the sound of her sniffling as if she's been crying made the smile on my face disappear. My heart goes out to my poor best friend. She must have been so worried."Aber."She stops and glances to see me. I smile at her again and Aber being Aber started to cry. She quickly places the tray on the table near the door and run up to me. She crushed me into a big hug which I returned wholeheartedly. Oh, how I miss my bestie, my one, and an only real friend."You bad girl," she says, pushing pushes me back on the bed

After 3 decades the moon goddess finally granted Eric's last dying wish. She has been watching his soul day by day as he works to mend for his own mistakes and sins in her hidden dimensions where only she can see through. She was satisfied with the way he has taken things and how remorseful he was with everything that has been happening. On a red full moon, for the first time in the history of werewolves, the sky pierced and four souls were reborn again, with the same features in the same world. The moon goddess has frozen the time and has taken everything back to where it was. It was as if she was playing a video where you keep hitting the replay button. She smiles watching those souls who are reborn again into her creation. It was Eric’s wish and yearning after his death that brought them back, this she watched hoping fate wouldn’t repeat like the last time. Those souls were Eric, Claire, Aaron and Elle. The moon goddess tried to change each fate, for them to be ha

We have been running in the woods, Eliz felt it refreshing since we haven't shifted when we were in the humans’ realm. We cross our border and made it to another territory probably Eric's. Then we continue to walk before we reach his. Aaron wants us to talk to the place where we first met.The first question I ask him as we walk was "How's everyone doing?" and he told me that they were all okay. Conrad has found his mate and Jay has moved with his mate since she's a Beta's daughter of another pack. So Zeus’s pack is now combined with his and now he's the Alpha. We talk about other random stuff about how my life in the human realm was and how I had to cope with everything until we reach that spot again. I pick up from our conversation that he never mentioned anything about Claire so I decided to ask him. I was thinking maybe he didn't want to since it could make things awkward."How's everything with Claire?"Aaron stopped this time and he turn
