“Daykan…” Naomi said breathlessly.

Okay, this was a surprise.

What was it with these men and showing up in unexpected places today?

“Naomi, you look so beautiful.” Daykan said softly and he meant it.

She had done something with her hair and it fell in waves around her.

She was wearing a simple red dress. It was just above her knee and with crisscross straps. She was wearing the black heels from their last date and holding a matching black purse.

She was wearing tiny pearl earrings and no other form of jewelry.

She had put some make up on.

She looked stunning and it pained him to know that all this was for a date with another man.

He only ever wanted her to dress up to go on dates with him; maybe for the girls’ nights out too. But certainly not with another male.

Naomi blushed at the compliment. “Thank you.” She peered at him closely. “Wait, you look different too. I can’t quite put my finger on it but there’s something different about you.
