It wasn't easy to speak up feeling so out of place but I could feel a strong connection between them. Everyone apart of Nathan's life has a connection but the moment I saw her I felt something deeper between them. It was how the eyes met or the body shifted slightly in response to the other. She was a mountain I couldn't try scaling which was a crushing defeat to accept. But since I don't even know what I want from him how could I hope to compete.
When those two headed into a private room to talk I was guided around the den. Her name was Candice such a cheerful kid but I didn't mind exploring. When I got to the kitchen area I was amazed at how handcrafted everything was. They avoided most electricity we humans worship for sure but this is much nicer. When they finished talking I landed the job of preparing dinner and they were gonna hunt for meat. The familiar stirring inside of me was actively announcing its jealousy which I understood well.

Abicus/ She ended up masking the scent of me that covered her by letting the blood flow. It was silly of her but it made sense as well to avoid the questions that could arise. Macy/ Abicus wanted to head home but decided to postpone it a little longer. So we stayed with Valkia while he trained her further in tapping into his gift. Within a full day, he had trained Valkia enough to tap into his gift which soon lead to me. He admitted knowing nothing about my spirit but he genuinely wanted to help me learn. The first things he taught me were how I changed and how far I could tap into it without losing control. At first, I couldn't do it but his encouragement was driving me to know the how. Macy/The place Rachel brought us was a vacant den that had the signs of fighting. But no bodies had been found or seen as we explored every inch of this place. Satisfied we wouldn't find anyone alive here we decided to look for anything that could point the way. I wanted to ask who this woman was but it felt like I would be digging into an old wound asking her. The more we searched the more frustration I could hear coming from her. They didn't leave anything here that was helpful and ultimately we had to give up.She had several ideas but I could tell she was stressing herself out. The day was mostly spent searching an empty den without any clues left behind. I know this is important to her but this isn't how we reach the end goal. When I looked at the map I noticed a city nearby which I decided to pull her towards. She protested at first but my logical reasoning was enough to quiet her down. If she continues being frantic I am afraid her health will spike downwards.
