Abicus; Chapter Eleven
Macy/
With South as my traveling companion, I found myself in a new kind of freedom. I was never allowed to do things like this but for him, it seems worth it. And yet I feel the absence of his presence which was a constant reminder of feeling protected. Since we had a long journey ahead of us I ended up prying into South's past and relationship with Nathan. Apparently south wasn't her name just a nickname like everyone else had, a way for him to remember where they are from. Surprisingly she told me her name and the story of her struggle to survive.
Learning more about Rachel was heartbreaking but gave me a sense of connection to her. So I told her about my own story that lead me here. She was surprised to hear what happened even more so that I survived the tragedy. Rachel couldn't help but call us a pair of tragedy survivors not blessed by anyone or anything. That felt like a direct shot at the moon who was said to guide and protect them
Going forward this will focus only on Macy currently.
Macy/The place Rachel brought us was a vacant den that had the signs of fighting. But no bodies had been found or seen as we explored every inch of this place. Satisfied we wouldn't find anyone alive here we decided to look for anything that could point the way. I wanted to ask who this woman was but it felt like I would be digging into an old wound asking her. The more we searched the more frustration I could hear coming from her. They didn't leave anything here that was helpful and ultimately we had to give up.She had several ideas but I could tell she was stressing herself out. The day was mostly spent searching an empty den without any clues left behind. I know this is important to her but this isn't how we reach the end goal. When I looked at the map I noticed a city nearby which I decided to pull her towards. She protested at first but my logical reasoning was enough to quiet her down. If she continues being frantic I am afraid her health will spike downwards.
Macy/The way her hands found just the right place to grasp in the dark, a way of keeping me close to her. It was the way she gained control of her moans as I took full control of the pleasure she felt. It was the way she stared at me while her body reacted to every movement I made inside of her. Rachel knew who I was but her eyes held a look of mischief and mystery like she was awoken to a blissful dream." I had never thought you had such a beautiful figure hidden from me. The fur is so soft and you are so gentle but now look at you."With the sharp intake of breathing cutting off her speech, as I hit the wall just right but I was just mimicking Nathan perfectly. Something burned into my memory and body. But I had knowledge as a woman he didn't so I knew how to amplify his method even further. She proved me right as I hit the right spots and used the right amount of force to penetrate her core." The control you have not to devour me... I see those powe
Macy/When morning arrived we both took just a little longer to get up, last night may have been overboard for us. When we headed down to turn the key in it was written on the clerk's face how much sleep he had gotten. The way he was turning pink at his cheeks and couldn't look at either of us. After dropping the key off we rushed outside to avoid further embarrassment at the disturbances we caused last night. Rachel was in better spirits though and had a brighter smile which im happy to see. On the way out of town, we were met by an obvious werewolf who had too much swagger. It was the way he stood there waiting for us as if he was a glorious gift. It was the way he moved to close the distance between us as his cologne grew stronger. The type who's filled with too much flirtatious nature and ego, the kind who never sits still and always has something to say. The liar and the gambler type, he didn't see friend or foe."You two are the talk of the town... And in
Macy/We all walked aimlessly for what seemed like hours but no one wanted to speak up. Rachel needs rest and time to process the anger inside of her. Marius lost his voice to be him which im grateful for but something just doesn't sit right with me." Let's set up camp and rest a little."No one acknowledged my words but they moved like robots all the same. Soon we had a little camp set up so we could recuperate ourselves. Rachel immediately excused herself to be alone which I didn't want but she needed it the most. Leaving me with Marius and this awkward silence." Rachel knows Gloria and Duke but doesn't know you?."" My family values strength and I value freedom... The time I decided to return it was too late, I still feel guilty for it all. I never thought Duke would harm her or our people like that."The mixed emotions gave rise to his voice as he was still battling inside himself. What could make someone so hungry for power to commit
Macy/The decision was easy before because I lost control when Nathan was in danger. But things are different this time, not just the circumstances but also the enemies. I was prepared to protect Rachel first and escape secondly if that was even possible. The way my instincts alerted me to everything happening around me enhanced by my heightened senses I was settling into a predator once more. Would he forgive me for causing him more problems I wonder." The rumors are unbelievably true after all. This means that the true Alpha has also been sighted. However, I expected this to be more difficult."His words couldn't reach me I was too focused and tense as the hunters moved closer. I wanted to kill them because that's what my instincts were telling me. I was afraid to make the first move but it didn't matter when a shot rang out loudly. My body reacted to the searing heat that pierced my flesh guided by a silver bullet. My reaction speed was lacking but I know I
Macy/When we arrived new faces surrounded us which must mean he succeeded. It was a ray of hope with what we have to deliver in news. When we entered the main room a towering woman was at its center and her eyes were powerful. I didn't notice right away but both Gloria and Rachel took a knee bowing before her. I had no idea who she was or why she deserved such respect but I followed them." Ah, you return... We have the forces now to handle Duke and many others are siding with us."" At least one of you doesn't know me so let me clear that up. I am Maxine and it seems more than enough disturbances are happening. We came after Theo pleaded his case but looking at you three... Hmm, what developments do you have for me."I didn't know how to address her question because I didn't understand werewolf and hunter relations fully." My name is Gloria... Allow me to apologize deeply for my family's blunders...Duke is my brother."" From the looks of
Abicus Chapter 17Macy/We rushed to the commotion we heard hoping the ones responsible didn't encounter Tj or Rachel. The moment we entered the back room Rachel was fighting another injured hunter, surprisingly holding his own. The words of Maxine echoed in my head as my body moved between them blocking them both from continuing. It was clear he was only being defensive but Rachel was trying to kill him." Enough Rachel, Calm down."" The hell are you doing, Macy. He's clearly a hunter, our enemy."" Nothings ever that simple, you should know that. Kai and I Just saw other hunters, Killed by another faction of hunters."My words were enough to settle her down but she was still heated. I turned to face the wounded but frightened man before me. He was still guarded which was expected." My name is Macy, can you tell me what happened while I dress that wound. It needs attention."He was weighing my words but trust wasn't easily g
Macy/After she calmed down enough we moved to the little living room area to talk. Her name was Carol and she knew Terry for many years. From what I was told, Alexis wasn't always this bad she used to walk and express herself. But as she got older she slowly got bedridden and her mother tried to find a cure. No one would come out this far and some listened to the symptoms to offer her a small hope. Medical equipment she couldn't afford because this village wasn't making money, it was self-sufficient. Because of this many left for the cities but Terry never had that option with a sick child. When Alexis turned thirteen she became unresponsive but alive. It was described like she entered a dream state but never woke up or responded. That's when Terry got desperate for help she spent her mornings and half the evening with Alexis. But Carol took over while Terry went out to walk miles without rest to any city or town she could. The desperation was expected of a mother who
A Lunas Strength Chapter 30 End first book Within a month we moved into a city with the most benefits for Alexis. Jen became full mother mode often which often had me and Rachel teasing. We took the most affordable apartment with the most access to stores and schools. Jen made the most plans for everything even though Rachel tried to help it was a hindrance in most cases. Alexis has made friends and settled in nicely with the changes. We do our best to monitor her with the changes that happened with me but nothing has affected her. My health has improved but the flair-ups cane rather randomly which felt like I was being choked. We didn't have a doctor for werewolves so we could only improvise and try to find something that would help. This often left me in bed due to Jen worrying but I didn't mind much. Jen has been working at a security consultant firm which fits her skill set most. Even though she didn't have a resume it didn't take much effort to convince them. The money is nice w
A Lunas Strength Chapter 29Much as expected the night was long and I soon found myself collecting naps hoping its enough. Abicus made sure Hannah didn't sleep at all which was expected since he went the extra mile in sex. It's hard to say I crave what she had received when the gentleness was more satisfying to me or was it the person. The other problem stealing my sleep was the vampire's words that made me question Abicus even further. Someone was leaving me in the dark and right now my closest ally felt like a vampire. This was perhaps the worst possible thought but it felt like truth when I start adding things up. Everyone seems to have a hidden agenda which I suppose is fine but is this war needed. When everyone started waking up and moving around it was time for the plans. Yet I didn't say much I just listened and watched everything happen. I was given a small unit that could move faster and was told to wait at a specific location. Something was off about th
A Lunas strength chapter 28 Macy/ Laying out the blanket for us to stretch out and lay down was our first objective. Alexis didn't waste time digging into the basket for some snacks which she equally hand fed us. Moments like this make me feel the guiltiest for many reasons but if I can avoid it then it's okay. Jen managed to wrestle the basket from Alexis doing the same thing as Alexis had done to us. When she tried to run I swept her up keeping her from fleeing from Jen's airplane food which had us all laughing. The moment I let her go she leaped onto Jen with a stream of constant laughter flowing. She's definitely a motherly figure for her which makes me happy in my choice of her being a guardian. As the day drifted on Jen decided to settle herself between my legs which she soon pulled Alexis over. Once everyone settled down and got comfortable a book was pulled from the basket. Jen seemed happy to read the contents for Alexis but all I could do was listen and hold them. The bree
Macy/Adjusting so the tip places itself at the entrance and with slow delicate movements of teasing. Her body responds with twitching and jerks at every sensation granted by the tip of this toy threatening to penetrate. Her gasps come out in heavy pleads as she desperately tries restraining herself. Letting one hand capture the throat letting nails press to flesh as the tips of fingers push as if feeling a deeper pulse. Her body arches beautifully slow as she bares her throat to me and with the other hand claiming the place above her belly button. Pressing no nails to the skin while palm presses and moves effortless against her skin transferring the burning heat I myself am holding.Once letting the tip slip just a little between her cores entrance a spike of desire rises. The soft cry of need held down with immense self-control. Pressing the hand just beneath her perfectly shaped breast letting the thumbs nail caress a line without breaking momentum. After bringing o
Macy/With such a slow be intense kiss my hands couldn't resist pulling her closer. Pushing into her lower back making certain her body was held as close as possible. With our breast pressing into the others, her hands moved through my hair with a delicate slow caress. She was in full control of this kiss as she relayed her emotions to me and I accepted every one of them. My hands moved down to her thighs lifting her till legs wrapped around my waist. Carrying her to the bedroom was a simple task and once we closed the door it was my turn to relay my feelings. Starting with lowering her to the bed carefully as my lips parted from hers while hands found themselves moving to her hips. Her legs relaxed and fell from my waist as she laid beneath me surrendering fully. My lips move to her jawline trailing nibbles and bites along the bone structure. Her soft gasps could be heard silently fleeing from her lips as her hands latched onto the sheets. A deep longing settled insid
Macy/The days carried on as intended when I had awoken almost two weeks had passed. Even after awaking I still had difficulties moving around. Rachel had it just a little worse due to her own health issues but luckily it's nothing severe. Kai and Tj recovered after a week of resting which sounds about right considering the limits I pushed. Maxine told me that I unleashed a trait specific to me which gave them the ability to fight on. But the reality was I took on all their exhaustion and fatigue as they were fighting. The difference between control and loss of control can be dangerous which explains why I didn't notice much changing with me.My mind simply wanted to win and make sure nothing pushed further towards the village. While reckless and extremely dangerous, a mothers scolding far surpasses any danger. Maxine spent three days locking me down and lecturing me every day. Yet I couldn't say anything because she was right everything I did could have caused more da
Macy/It was clear I shouldn't have asked so I changed subjects which brought her back to reality. The reports came in on our surroundings and the enemy. The hell hounds have grown in number and at least two unidentified people were spotted. Seth arrived sometime later around nightfall leaving us with the final touches to our attack. If we do this fast enough we could easily push into the heart of Duke's lands and end everything. With every escape route mapped out and the enemy numbers roughly estimated Seth was confident of our chances. One strange thing was Ferris had not been spotted which worried me." Seth, is Ferris not joining us?"" I sent him with Gloria to secure our escape route just in case.*While it sounds like a good idea it's also clear how Ferris feels with, well my kind. Maxine had given the order to shift which she followed suit as did I. Twenty werewolves ready to charge into the den of death hoping for a victory which im sure will com
Macy/After she calmed down and her tears had stopped the smell of food was rising. Jen must have wanted to cook something for Alexis to help her recover." Jen is making something delicious from the smell of it."" Yeah it smells great"She was still feeling the sting of reality but she could still smile and that was enough. Carol will be pleasantly surprised that I succeeded but I don't think I can tell her how. In fact, I should be careful with who knows about this because I'm still in unknown waters myself. Jen slides into the room with a plate of food which smells even better up close. When she settles in next to me on the bed we take turns feeding Alexis and playing around. Jen and I are subjugated to a swarm of questions but with smiles, we just answer each one as best we can. The more we talk with her the more we learn about her and what she likes. So I told her id make sure I get her as many books as I could find for her which had her beaming at
Macy/Carol was both surprised and happy to see me again but my health was concerning her. She was like a universal mother to people always fussing over them even if they are strangers. While Carol finished up in the fields I took Jen to see Alexis which she seemed excited for. Every chance I could read that book I took it but none of it went beyond the ritual which im certain I performed. So all I had were thoughts and possibilities since they never explained much to me. This whole thing is foreign to me and I don't know what I'm capable of either outside of combat at least. While Jen sat with her I took my time looking through books Terry had hoping for a straw to grasp. Perhaps I was to eager coming here before I was ready but my future doesn't seem too bright. After hours of searching, I couldn't find an answer to my question. The only thing that seemed possible is a mark similar to how Nathan saved Rachel but am I capable of that. How do marks even work exactly?
