Kailey’s POV

The darkness of the room had become my constant companion, pressing in on me from every side. It had been two weeks now—two weeks of isolation, two weeks of torment. I sat huddled in the corner, my body a shadow of what it once was. My arms were thin, frail. The skin clung to my bones, and I could see the sharp angles of my ribs whenever I glanced down. Hunger gnawed at my stomach, a relentless ache that never eased.Every day, the guards would bring a small portion of food—if it could even be called that. It looked like scraps, leftovers from someone else's meal. The taste was as awful as the sight of it, but I had no choice. I ate it, every bit, forcing it down just to survive.I had grown so weak that even the effort of chewing felt exhausting. My arms trembled whenever I moved, and my legs felt like they could give out at any moment. My reflection, if I had been able to see it, would have been unrecognizable.I shivered as the memory of a few days ago played in my mind,

Kailey’s POVA sudden splash of icy water shocked me awake. My body jerked violently, the freezing cold biting into my skin. My thin clothes clung to me, soaked and useless against the chill.“Wake up, slut!” a guard bellowed, his voice harsh and dripping with contempt.I gasped, blinking rapidly as I tried to process what was happening. The cold water dripped down my face, my hair plastered to my skin.“Get up!” he yelled again, kicking at the chains near my feet.“I—I’m awake,” I stuttered, struggling to push myself up. My body was stiff, my muscles weak from weeks of neglect.“Awake, are you?” He sneered. “Doesn’t look like it. You think this is some kind of luxury inn where you can sleep all day?”“No, I—” I started to say, but his sharp glare silenced me.“Shut up!” He barked, grabbing my arm roughly and yanking me to my feet. I stumbled, the chains around my wrists and ankles clanging loudly.“What did I do?” I whispered, my voice trembling.“You’re breathing, that’s what,” he snapped. “

Kailey’s POV"Order!" the sentinel’s voice boomed, I stood there trembling, my legs barely holding me up. The weight of the chains on my wrists and ankles was nothing compared to the crushing fear inside me. Every little movement made the chains clink softly, the sound echoing in the silence of the massive courtroom. I felt the cold bite of the metal digging into my skin, but that was nothing compared to the burning stares of the people around me.The dress I wore hung loose on my body. It was plain and worn, but it was the cleanest thing I had worn in days. It covered most of the bruises scattered across my arms and legs, but no dress could hide the fear radiating off me.Before me, sitting on a high platform, was Alpha Mark. His presence was like a storm cloud, heavy and dark. His cold, unyielding expression felt like it could slice through me, but it was his eyes that terrified me the most. They burned with a fury that made my blood run cold. If he could, I was sure he would leap fro

Kailey’s POVI sat on the cold stone floor of the cell, my knees pulled up to my chest. My chains rattled every time I moved. Tears streamed down my face as I thought about everything that had happened. The trial was delayed. That was something, at least. A small sliver of hope. Maybe, just maybe, there would be a miracle. Maybe I wouldn’t be executed. But as the moments dragged on, my mind spiraled. Memories flooded in—memories I had tried so hard to bury.Kyle.His face surfaced first, along with the sharp pain of betrayal. My ex. The one I had given everything to. The one who had looked me in the eyes and told me I was his world. And yet, he had turned around and marked someone else.“Kailey, you’re just an omega,” he had said that day, his voice cold and dismissive. “I can’t be tied to someone like you. I have to think about my future.”We had been together for years. Years of laughter, dreams, and promises. And in the end, none of it had mattered. He had chosen another. He had marked h

Ezekiel’s POVThe car pulled up to the front of the pack house just as the evening sun dipped low on the horizon. My hands gripped the armrest as I leaned forward, eager for the ride to end. The moment the car came to a stop, I swung the door open before the chauffeur could even reach it.“Sir, how was your journey?” the chauffeur asked, tipping his hat as he stood aside.“Fine,” I replied curtly, not bothering to look at him. My mind was already elsewhere—on Kailey.I hadn’t seen her in days. My father had sent me to handle a dispute in the neighboring pack, claiming it was urgent. But I knew the truth. He’d done it on purpose, sending me far away so I couldn’t intervene. Kailey had been imprisoned, accused of things I knew she hadn’t done, and he’d used every opportunity to keep me out of the picture.I didn’t care about the disputes I’d resolved, the alliances I’d had to navigate, or the endless, meaningless formalities. All I wanted was to see her.As I stepped out of the car, I saw hi

Kailey’s POVThe room felt colder than usual, though I was sure it wasn’t just the temperature. The chains on my wrists and ankles had long since become unbearable, but the sight of Ezekiel walking into the courtroom made me feel lighter, just for a moment. But that moment faded quickly. I watched his face, searching for something—reassurance, determination, anything that told me he was here to save me. Instead, I saw hesitation, conflict.I couldn’t breathe. He stood there, tall and imposing, his presence commanding the attention of everyone in the room. The sentinel announced him, and the crowd whispered, their voices a mix of awe and curiosity. But I didn’t care about any of them. My eyes were locked on him, and his on me.For a fleeting second, I thought I saw pain in his eyes, the Ezekiel I knew breaking through the stoic mask he wore. But then he turned away, his gaze hardening as he addressed the elders.“Do you, as the future Alpha of this pack, think Kailey is guilty of the crimes

Kailey’s POVThe words rang in my ears like a death knell.“Kailey is hereby declared guilty of seducing the future Alpha, Ezekiel. For this crime, she is banished from the pack and sentenced to be killed upon sight should she return.”I froze, unable to comprehend the gravity of the Elder’s decree. The silence that followed was deafening, broken only by the sound of my shallow breathing.I turned my eyes toward Ezekiel, desperate for some sign that he would speak up, that he would fight for me. His face was a mask of shock, his lips slightly parted as if he couldn’t believe what he’d just heard. But he didn’t move. He didn’t say a word.“Ezekiel,” I croaked, my voice trembling. “Please, tell them the truth. Tell them this isn’t true.”He met my eyes briefly, and I saw the conflict there—the battle he was fighting within himself. But instead of stepping forward, instead of saying anything, he lowered his gaze, his silence cutting deeper than any blade ever could. The Elder continued as if I

Kailey’s POV“Someone… Someone tried to kill me,” I gasped, clutching my injured arm. My vision blurred, and I felt myself swaying. “They were here. They had a knife.”The other guard knelt beside me, his expression grim. “We were sent to get you out of here.”“You’re getting me out?” I asked, my voice shaky and laced with suspicion. My arm throbbed, blood still oozing from the gash left by the assassin. “Why now? Who sent you?”The taller of the two guards glanced over his shoulder at the open door. His face was hidden by the shadow of his helmet, but his tone was urgent. “Someone wants you dead. If we don’t move, they’ll try again. Do you want to live here or stay here and die?”“I want to live,” I replied, though doubt clouded my thoughts. “But how do I know you’re not just taking me somewhere else to finish the job?”The shorter guard exhaled sharply, clearly running out of patience. “We don’t have time for your paranoia. If we wanted you dead, you wouldn’t have survived this long.”I h

My stomach growled loudly, a reminder of my failure.“Damn it,” I muttered, frustration bubbling over. “If it wasn’t for this stupid leg…” I glanced down at the bandage I’d wrapped hastily around the deep cut on my thigh. Blood had seeped through the fabric again, staining it dark red.It had been three days since I fled the pack. Three days since Ezekiel betrayed me, and his father’s assassin tried to end my life. And now here I was, living in a damp cave, scrounging for food like some primitive human.I adjusted the crude sling I’d made to carry my meager catch for the day—a few squirrels and a small bird. Not exactly a feast, but it was better than nothing. Survival was all that mattered now.The sun was beginning to set, casting long shadows across the forest floor as I made my way back to the cave. The spring air carried a chill, and I could feel the first stirrings of the

However.I had listened to his heartbeat at the time, there was no way he could have lied to me.If Auren was taken to the conference room, then there must be a reason for that. Why was Cecilia doing this?.I had known her to be heartless but not to ti's degree, I have been doubting and forcing myself not to believe that Cecilia was behind all of this, but with the confession of the rogue, I didn't know what to think anymore. A serpent like Cecilia has been living in the pack house all this while. I shook my head as I began to jog through the hallway. The place was silent except for the sound of my boots connecting to the dry ground. My senses were at alert, and my eyes were watchful, I needed to be ready for anything. Right now my wounds had completely healed and I was back to my best, though not totally, it was all I

My heart pounded in my chest so hard it echoed in my ears. The thick silence inside the room was only broken by the distant sounds of battle, the clash of swords, growls, and screams. Smoke drifted in through the cracks of the wooden door, making it hard to breathe.Jon had told me to stay put. “Don’t come out until I return. Promise me, Lydia.” His voice had been firm but gentle. I had nodded, and he had rushed out, returning back to the battlefield. That was... a while ago and right now I was beginning to get worried, I had no idea what was happening to Auren and James. I just couldn't stay here any more. I didn’t know how long I had been hiding, but it felt like forever at this point. Every second stretched like an hour. My hands were shaking. James pov. With the few rogues I had encountered here inside the pack house, I was already convinced that they had gotten their way somehow. It was obvious there must have been an inside man, someone who had given them access into the pack house. Come to think of it, the rogues wouldn't dare attack the pack if they were not confident about the outcome. Someone was pulling the strings. I shook my head, holding my sword in my right hand. This was not the time to put my sword inside its sheath as there might be dangers lurking around the corners.Right now the wounds on my body had completely healed, however, the blood stains still remained on my cloak, a reminder of the battle I had been involved in a few minutes ago. The two who had taken Auren, they had come through this part of the pack house, I frowned, halting as I took on my surroundings. There was no one around, the whole place was totally silent, it was just like a graveyard, except for the loud screened from outside and

Lydia's pov. The battle continued as the loud sounds of howls and metal clanging filled the air. I pressed my hands against my ears, trying to block it out, but it was no use at this point. The pack house was shaking. The screams of warriors, the growls of rogues, and the crashing of bodies against walls was everywhere.“Move! Lydia, stay close!” Jon shouted, grabbing my hand and pulling me through the corridor.Jon was one of the best warriors in the pack, always calm, always sharp and James had ordered him earlier to get me to safety. Another warrior followed behind us, tall and strong, but I didn’t know his name. His face was set, eyes darting back and forth like he expected an attack any second.“I’m scared,” I whispered as we ran.“I know,” Jon said, his voice steady. “But I won’t let anything happen to you.” We turned a corner, and my heart dropped. Part of the hallway was on fire, smoke curling into the air.“They’re everywhere,” the second warrior muttered. “We need to g

Cecilia's pov. My heart raced, toes curled as I laid stretched out on the bed, both of my legs stayed handing in the air as all I felt at that point was pleasure, extreme pleasure.Damon continued moving back and forth, plowing into me with so much energy and I just couldn't hold back the moans which escaped my lips from time to time. I squeezed my legs, wrapping them against his wait and pulling him more into me as I reached my climax. My whole body spasm and in that moment, I also felt his rod twitching inside of me, in no time I could feel him filling me up from the inside. After that, Damon collapsed on me for a few moments before rolling off, we both laid back on the bed panting and trying to catch our breath.I can't believe I had given myself to him again, how could I do that? How could I let a rogue have so much power over me?. How could I let him have his way with me right here In the pack house?. Of Course I knew this as a disrespect to Ezekiel, I still had no regrets, a

James pov As I stood on my feet, eyes locked on the rogue in front of me, I had confirmed his strength already and I knew this wasn't going to be an easy fight at all. If I wanted to win this, I would have to be serious with this. “Come on” the rogue muttered, cracking his knuckles. And cracking his neck. At this point I could hear my own breathing, rough, ragged, loud in my ears. The hallway was quiet, but only for a second. Dust floated in the air. Blood stained the walls, Of Course it was clear it was from the little fight we had. Some of those blood were mine and the rest of his. He stood at the far end, chest rising and falling steadily. Right now, His claws were out, long and black, tipped with blood. He was grinning, enjoying this. I on the other hand was tired, sore, and bleeding, but I still had my sword. However, my wounds were already healing. “You don’t look so good, Beta,” he said, taking a slow step forward.“You talk too much,” I answered, lifting my blade. We

James pov. My mind was still occupied with the thought of how the rogues managed to get past the guards and into the pack house. A large frown appeared on my face as I inched deeper into the hallway. The pack soldiers had held their ground well, fending off the never ending wave of rogues, so how then were those two able to get into the pack house?.Seeing those two earlier only confirmed my fear, there were more of them inside the pack house, and these few must have not been in the sea of rogues who attacked the pack house. They must have snuck in through a secret passageway, there was no way they had done this themselves, it was clear that they had help from someone, someone inside the pack house. I gritted my teeth, my eyes sharp as I took in my surroundings. I wonder who it was, the one who had aided the rogues.Suddenly my mind went to Cecilia, I haven't heard or seen her since the beginning of the battle, where the hell has she been. Oh I just hope She has no hand in thisI

My wounds were completely healed and free from the poison, thanks to the Antidote, I was already back to full strength. My mind was still occupied with the thought of whether Auren was alright or not, it pained me so much that he was taken right in front of me, while I wasn't looking. I felt a tug in my heart as I advanced further, I had tried so hard not to show the pain I felt in front of Lydia, assuring her that I would find Auren, I was certain he was still inside the pack house, that was the hope I was holding on to. I knew something was wrong the moment I stepped into the hallway. The air felt off, too still, too quiet.Even with the fighting outside, the whole place was still very much silent which was off. The pack house was never silent, especially not with the fighting happening outside. My boots thudded lightly on the polished wooden floor as I moved deeper inside, every sense alert at this point. I continued walking, taking more steps and as I did, more and more flowers appeared in the groove. The scent in the air was more on this side, a sweet tang which also had a sweet taste to it, I wasn't sure how but somehow I could taste the sweetness in the air. What are these?. I couldn't help but wonder what the flowers were, the forest had shown me a lot of supernatural things which were white right now I was fully on my guard, I wouldn't let my guard down for now reason.Suddenly there was a whistle in the air, I paused, trying to figure out where the whistling was coming from but it felt like it was everywhere. My heart slowly began to pound in my chest, I took a deep breath and tried to focus on where the sound was coming from.My eyes widened as I noticed that the whistling was coming from the flowers, the blood red flowers
