Tamara’s POV

As I strode away from the crowd, I could hear Jack’s footsteps rushing after me.

My heart was pounding from all the adrenaline of almost watching my pack members get slaughtered, so I didn’t even bother to glance back at him.

"Tamara!" Jack’s voice was sharp and desperate. "What the hell are you doing?"

I ignored him until he grabbed my arm, halting me in my tracks.

I whipped around, glaring at him. “What does it look like I’m doing, Jack? I’m handling the mess you created!”

Jack’s eyes flared with disbelief. “You’re actually going to marry Alpha Dante? That monster? You can’t be serious.” He exclaimed.

“Oh, I’m dead serious,” I snapped, crossing my arms. “He can’t be any worse than you. And Since when do you care anyway? Shouldn’t you be focused on your Kate now? She’s pregnant with your child, after all.” I sneered.

"Don’t bring Kate into this, this is about you and me." He stepped closer, his voice lowering as if trying to seduce me. "Or have you

Tamara POV I tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep. The day had been way too long, and wayy too chaotic, not to mention that it was filled with way too many emotions to process. The first case was that My mind kept replaying my expected confrontation with Jack, the stares from the pack members, and the weight of everything I had just agreed to. i was Marrying Alpha Dante for goodness sake!. The same man whose name alone sent shivers down the spine of anyone who heard it. How had it come to this? I had spent years dreaming of the moment I would take control of my destiny, and now I was handing my life over to a man I barely knew. Dear goddess! I sighed, staring up at the ceiling, my fingers twisting in the sheets. Sleep was impossible. A sudden knock on the door made my heart leap into my throat. My first thought was that Jack had come to argue with me again, unable to accept that I was marrying Dante. I was not in the mood for another confrontation. I pulled myself o

Jack's POV As I stood there, watching Tamara clasp the diamond necklace around her neck, it felt like something inside me shattered. My heart was crushed, and I could barely breathe. My throat tightened, and my chest felt like it was caving in. I can't believe she's marrying him!Fucking Alpha Dante! Of all people! How could she do this to me? How could she marry him? My worst enemy, the man responsible for so much pain in my life. She didn’t even flinch when she accepted that diamond necklace. Her face was calm, even pleased. How could she be pleased when she was throwing everything we had away?I stormed to my room, away from the scene that was breaking me apart. I couldn’t stay there. I couldn’t stand to see her like that, wearing something sent by that monster. It made my skin crawl. The room I was walking into wasn’t even my own anymore. Yesterday, Tamara had kicked me out of her room and forced Kate and me to move into one of the smaller rooms downstairs. Pure shame and humili

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Leaving Jack

It had been two days since Alpha Dante sent me the diamond ring, and I was set to leave for his territory in just a few hours. Everything was already packed and prepared for my departure. I glanced at the ring on my finger, the large diamond catching the light as I turned it. It symbolized more than just a marriage proposal. It symbolized my future—our future—and the power that was soon to be mine.Jack had been pretending to ignore me since I accepted the ring, his attempts at cold indifference painfully obvious. I still caught him staring at me sometimes when he thought I wasn’t looking. It wasn’t my imagination either. His eyes would burn into me from across the room, only to look away the moment I met his gaze. I knew it still bothered him, this engagement, but I didn’t care. I had made it clear that he had to leave my pack, that he had no place here anymore. Yet, he hadn’t made any effort to go, and I couldn’t help but wonder why.Still, it didn’t bother me much. Soon, when Alpha

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Killing Tamara

Tamara's POV The road stretched out ahead of us, winding through thick woods and rolling hills as the car smoothly glided over the asphalt. The ride was mostly quiet except for the excited chatter of Violet, who sat beside me, practically vibrating with energy. “This is going to be amazing, Tamara!” Violet gushed, leaning toward me with wide eyes. “I mean, think about it. We’re going to Alpha Dante’s pack—his lands are supposed to be incredible! Abundance like you wouldn’t believe. Huge estates, farms that practically grow food by themselves, rivers full of fish. I’ve heard they even have gold mines!” I gave her a sidelong glance but didn’t share her enthusiasm. Her excitement only made the knot in my stomach tighten. “Yeah, I’ve heard those stories too.” “And it’s all true!” Fiona said with a dreamy sigh, looking out the window as we passed another long stretch of forest. “They say his lands are so prosperous that no one there ever goes hungry. That’s why no one ever leaves—t

Tamara’s POV I took a step back and pushed Violet behind me even though my heart was pounding in my chest. My entire body was trembling as the attackers moved toward us with twisted grins. I tried hard to keep her behind me, to shield her from their cold eyes which were gleaming with cruel amusement as they watched us like predators toying with their prey. "Aww Look at the great and powerful Luna shivering in front of us," one of them sneered, he seemed to be the boss here. He was tall but very ugly with rotten looking teeth as he sneered at me. "Look how the proud Luna Tamara and her friends are so helpless and pitiful in front of us, like a couple of scared little girls." He laughed and the others joined. Fucking prick! I gritted my teeth and forced myself to stand up straighter, to project confidence that I didn’t feel. My voice shook a little, but I glared at him and tried to look as cold and intimidating as possible. "Do you have any idea who you’re messing with?’,

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Getting Jacks wife back

Jack's POV I stood at the edge of the driveway, my arms crossed, watching the northern warriors drive Tamara away. The luxurious car they arrived in was slick and black, barely making a sound as it pulled away. I scowled, feeling a tight knot of frustration in my chest. Their security detail was laughable—two cars, both with tinted windows, crawling along as if they had all the time in the world. They had no idea what danger they were heading into, and it made me scoff. They wouldn’t make it far.Even though I wasn’t the one who had hired the assassins, I knew Kate had, and I could trust that whoever she picked would get the job done. Kate wanted Tamara gone even more than I did. She hated her. Despised her for standing in the way of everything she thought she deserved. As if on cue, Kate sidled up to me, slipping her arm around my waist and leaning her head against my shoulder. “Finally,” she murmured, “we’re free.”I pushed her off, my body stiff and unyielding. “I’m not in the moo

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Someone knows

Tamara's POV I woke up groggily, my head pounding as I tried to make sense of my surroundings. The first thing I noticed was the faint smell of antiseptic in the air, the sterile cleanliness of a clinic. The room was dimly lit, and I blinked several times, trying to shake off the drowsiness clinging to me like a heavy fog.Where the hell am I?The bed I was lying on was firm, not entirely uncomfortable, but foreign. I definitely wasn’t in my own room. My body ached slightly, a dull pain radiating from my side. Slowly, I moved my hand down to the source of the pain, the memory of being stabbed rushing back to me.The attack. The men. The blood.I tried to sit up but felt a wave of dizziness hit me like a brick wall. Just as I managed to push myself up, a young woman in a white nurse’s uniform hurried over, her expression one of concern. She placed her hands gently on my shoulders and urged me to lie back down.“You shouldn’t be getting up,” she said, her voice soft but firm. “You need

“What the fuck?” “H-How do you know about my second life?” I blurted, still reeling from the shock of her words. My voice was more than a little shaky as I was barely able to process the fact that this stranger I had never ever met in both of my lives knew something so deeply buried? Like was I dreaming? The Doctor woman—Laura—didn’t even flinch at my shock, Instead, she gave me a calm, almost knowing smile. “You’re not the first person I’ve known to be reborn, Tamara.” Her tone was so matter-of-fact, so casual, it made me feel even more unsteady. I stared at her, feeling a like a shark just swam out of a river and was now dancing infront of me. “Reborn…” I whispered, almost to myself. “But… how? How do you know that?” Laura tilted her head slightly, studying me as if I were some puzzle she was trying to solve. “There are signs, things that only people like me can pick up on. The way your body moves, your spirit energy, the way your soul resonates. You have the energy of s

He had never ever spoken to me with such hate and disgust before. I won't lie, it hurt, but I kept my composure. 'Don’t break, Kayla. Never again.' I reminded myself. Xavier whirled around and stormed out with a smug Mia, leaving me behind with my racing thoughts. I slowly followed behind them but I was forced to a startling halt when he suddenly froze in the middle of the hallway. I followed cautiously behind him and saw why. Author's note at the bottom. Kayla’s POV It was Mia who quickly spoke up, "It's not that simple my Lord, this woman is a murderer!" she yelled and Alpha Adrian's cold eyes snapped back to me. His brow lifted and it seemed that his already intense gaze zeroed in on me even more. I felt my throat tighten like I was being suffocated but Mia refused to stop talking. "It's true Alpha, not only is she a cold hearted murderer, but who she killed were her own parents! She's not an innocent victim here, she's a monster!." Mia’s words rang in my ears like a death knell and I could only watch her smirk in satisfaction. I was frozen, feeling the weight of the traumatic accusation slapped in my face all over again. And to make matters worse, this tall, powerful dark Alpha that made me feel so many strange things would now hate me too. I forced myself to look at him, already expecting to see hate, fury or disgust in his eyes but my breath immediately hitched when I saw his expression.

His gaze wasn’t just passing; it was intense, like he was peeling away every layer of me, dissecting every secret. I shifted uncomfortably, clutching the hem of my dress, wishing I could melt into the walls of the Alpha’s office.I needed to disappear before the heat of his gaze melted me to the floor. “Please wait here, I will inform Alpha Xavier that you are looking for him,” I said softly, hoping my voice didn’t betray the nervous tremble I felt inside. I turned to leave, but before I could even take a step, the man moved with lightning speed and blocked the door. His arm braced

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Once a luna

Kayla’s POVIt had been one month since Alpha Xavier rejected me. One long, excruciating month since I lost my child, one painful month since i lost my wolf. The memory of the pain, the losses, his cold words, his indifference as he shattered our bond, played on a constant loop in my head. Every night, I’d wake up sweating and trembling, reaching out for Kira, only to remember she was gone. My inner wolf had disappeared the moment Xavier had rejected me, leaving me an empty shell of who I used to be.What hurt even more was how he’d cut me out of his life completely. He wouldn’t speak to me, wouldn’t even look at me. Yet, for reasons I couldn’t understand, he refused to let me leave the pack. I had tried—oh, I had tried so many times to escape. But every time, the guards would catch me before I even made it to the border. Xavier had ordered them to restrain me and bring me back no matter what. Now, I was constantly watched, a prisoner in the very place I once called home.He had s

Kayla’s POV The first thing I felt when I woke up was the ache in my abdomen. It wasn’t sharp anymore, but a dull, throbbing pain that made me wince as I shifted slightly in the hospital bed. The sterile smell of disinfectant filled my nostrils, and the soft beeping of a heart monitor reached my ears, letting me know I was in the hospital. Then, like a lightning strike, panic surged through me. My baby. I shot upright despite the pain, my breath hitching. “My baby… How's my baby?” I asked, my voice trembling as I scanned the room for someone who could answer me. Dr. Marcus, who was sitting at the corner of the room looking over some papers, quickly stood and approached me. His expression was solemn, his eyes filled with pity. “Luna Kayla…” he began softly, his tone filled with regret. “No,” I whispered, shaking my head violently. “Don’t say it. Don’t you dare say it.” He hesitated, but finally, he met my gaze. “I’m so sorry. Your baby didn’t survive.” The words hit me like

Kayla’s POV Mia’s smirk was impossible to ignore, but I tried anyway. I sighed heavily, forcing myself to turn back to my tea and toast. The sharp scent of the tea leaves helped anchor me, kept me from snapping at her. She wanted a reaction—I wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction. But, of course, she wouldn’t leave it at that. “You know,” Mia began, her voice sweet with a cruel edge, “it must be so humiliating for you. I mean, I’ve only been with Xavier a short while, and I’m already carrying his heir. Meanwhile, you? Years, and you couldn’t even give him one pup.” I tightened my grip on the counter but kept my mouth shut. She was baiting me, and I wouldn’t fall for it. Mia walked closer and leaned casually against the counter. “It’s funny, really. He couldn’t keep his hands off me the moment he saw me. Said he couldn’t resist someone who actually knew how to please him.” My wolf, Kira, growled low in the back of my mind. "Ignore her," I told Kira. "She’s trying to get

Kayla’s POVI lost track of how many days I had been locked in the guest room which I had now moved into despite Xavier's protests. The only sounds I could hear over my own sobs were the soft murmurs of the pack outside my door and Xavier’s constant pleading.“Kayla, please,” his voice cracked, and I could hear the desperation. “I’m sorry. Just let me explain. Please, let me in.”But I couldn’t. Every time I thought of his face—of what he’d done—my heart twisted, and tears would pour again. I spent my days in bed, alternating between crying and staring at the ceiling, wondering how everything had fallen apart so quickly.I had tried to eat once, maybe twice, just so that my baby would have nourishment but my body rejected it every time. The knot in my stomach wouldn’t let anything settle, and I’d rush to the bathroom, retching until I was empty again. I was too weak to fight anymore.Eventually, hunger and worry for my child's well being gnawed at me and forced me to venture out, ho

He reached out to brush a strand of hair from my face, his touch as gentle as ever. “Kayla,” he murmured, his voice thick with concern. “Thank the Goddess you’re awake.” Reality crashed into me like a tidal wave. The memory of Evelyn’s cruel smirk, Mia’s tear-filled confession, and the gut-wrenching revelation of their betrayal all came rushing back. My chest tightened, and tears immediately blurred my vision. “How could you?” I whispered, my voice trembling. Xavier stiffened, his hand retracting as if my words burned him. “Kayla, I—” “No!” I cried, sitting up in bed and pushing him away. “How could you do this to me, Xavier? To us? My palms were damp with sweat as I nervously twisted my wedding ring around my finger. Dr. Marcus cleared his throat, breaking me out of my anxious daze. “Well, Luna,” he said, his eyes softening behind his glasses. “The results are in, and I have some news for you.” I held my breath. The room seemed to shrink, the air thinning. This was it—the moment I’d been waiting for, praying for, begging the Moon Goddess for. “You’re pregnant.” For a moment, I couldn’t comprehend his words. “Pregnant?” I whispered, my voice barely audible. “Yes,” he confirmed, smiling warmly. “You’re about eight weeks along.” A sob escaped my lips before I could stop it.
