The Blame

****Adam's POV***

While in the doctor's office, I was asked for blood, and when I heard this. I made up my mind without hesitation.

“Please be patient, the blood will be tested and results will be called out soon.”

Vanessa nodded her head while wiping off tears from the corner of her eyes.

Being confused was an understatement. I was terribly appalled by the situation in front of me.

After some minutes, the nurse, who took my blood sample, walked into the office.

“Doctor, the test has been carried out, and it's a hundred percent match.”

“Oh goddess!” Vanessa exclaimed. I also breathed a sigh of relief, though I have no idea what's actually going on.

“Miss Vanessa and Mr. Adams, now that there's a match, we'll quickly carry out the procedures as soon as possible,” the doctor informed.

“Thank you so much, doctor. I'm so grateful for your help.”

“Two cups of coffee, please.”

I said to the nice lady with blonde hair.

“Alright, sir, I'm on it.”
