They agreed with what I had just said and I knew that it was going to make this job a whole lot easier for all of us involved.

“Do you think that’s all father said to them?” Jules asked as we sat at the table to decide on the next step to take.

I paused for a moment, digesting his question. “I don’t think so. “Father always has a backup plan, always.”

“Do you have any idea what it might be?” Cole asked.

“I don’t and to be honest with you, I have no intentions of finding out. That's why it’s paramount that we make this plan worthwhile. Everything depends on it.”
